I called Harpers Ferry Lock and Key when I accidentally locked my only key in the car outside of a local restaurant. The older gentleman that showed up to help me was very nice and told me I could sit and wait inside while he did his thing since it was very cold outside. The entire process took only about 30 minutes and I was charged $115 which I feel is reasonable.

We were so impressed and grateful to Wayne for his quick response time and his skill level. He came to the house to open a 20 year old safe that wouldn’t open with the code. He came the same day and spent over 2 hours drilling, hammering and using a crowbar to break through the cement and steel. It was a Herculean task that he accomplished all while remaining calm and polite. Despite the fact that the safe was empty, we were so thankful for Wayne’s efforts. It was a dirty and exhausting job.

Upon needing a 3rd quality padlock to match our already 2 keyed-alike padlocks (on a high security key blank), I was able to simply drop a copy of my key with my request. That was all that was needed. Tho we were in no rush, our lock was pinned up and waiting for us on our very next trip as we popped back up town! The lock, with new keys, did not cost as much as we expected considering the cylinder and key were both high security and the time at the bench for the tech. Additionally, I was able to get legal documents notarized at the very same visit and that made my stop even more productive. I was able to cross both off my list during the same visit. The counter staff were very friendly and easy to work with and I recommend Ave’s all the time. Thank you for the convenience!

I highly recommend Asaf’s locksmith services. I needed a key and fob replicated for a Chevy Colorado truck and he took his time to do everything right and of course everything works well and as it should. Asaf is very knowledgeable and professional and the price for his services are very reasonable.

I had a key lock fail on my home office and called this service early in the morning (around 7:30am) since I couldn’t get a local small business to respond. They answered right away and sent a locksmith who arrived in about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
I was told the cost would be a $45 service call plus whatever work was required. The technician was on site for roughly 20 minutes, and the total charge ended up being $225. While the issue was resolved, I do not feel the pricing was reasonable for the amount of time and work involved.
Additionally, the technician initially quoted $225 to replace the lock, then said he would do it “for me” for $175. That interaction felt unprofessional and made the service seem less reputable. I chose to save the money and replace the lock myself.
Overall, they did solve the problem, but the pricing and upsell approach left a negative impression.
