The Tech notified us that there’s a chance of being here earlier than planned and made it very easy to make sure that neither of our plans would be interrupted.
He came in office updating us of completing the service and was on his way.
That moment of something going right in a day that started out not so well, the 60.00 dollars that he took off from the first cost he gave, we gladly paid the first estimate given.

They gave me and honest and reasonable price for the work he has done for me.. 10 out of 10 I will recommend this company for various jobs that they can offer. The company has never let me down with the multiple times I have used them for different jobs and they stand on their guarantee.. they fix other company’s mistakes and explain to you what they did wrong and tell/show you what is better and more times than not cheaper than the other company. And I put i spent $200+ but that not per job! I put that in there because they are very reasonable with prices!!!

Jake and his team are very prompt and easy to work with. We have over 800 apartments in Madison and he is our go-to-guy for lock related issues, lock-outs, mass duplication, blank keys.

I dropped off 32 garage keys(on a holiday weekend) and requested sets of 10 on a holiday, he had completed the 320 keys the following Monday.

He helped us with our pull handles, we could not find the part to replace and he found it right away for us.

He is very knowledgeable about all things keys and the art of being a locksmith. I highly highly recommend him for any job- big or small.

Billy came out to see us to help my dad retrieve his key from inside of his car. Billy was incredibly responsive via phone, checking in with me between appointments. There’s a famous Seinfeld bit where Jerry shows up at the car rental place to pick up a car he reserved in advance, only to find that the rental place gave his car away to someone else. This caused him to observe that the rental company “knows how to take the reservation, but doesn’t know how to HOLD the reservation,” which is of course the most important part. I had a similar experience with the Monona Batteries Plus store recently.

I originally ordered a car battery battery online on 1/24/26 for pickup at the Monona, WI location. At 10:00 a.m. on 1/25/26, I received a phone call from the Monona location during which I was advised that the store had given the battery I had ordered to another customer — the last remaining one they had. You know, the one I had already paid for so it would be there when I went to pick it up. They told me that a different location in nearby Madison, WI appeared to have one in stock, but that I would need to make the arrangements to buy it and pick it up, and suggested that the Madison store would be able to “transfer” my online order to their facility for fulfillment. I called the Madison store and they verified that they did have the battery, but could not transfer the order. So I had to re-order it from the Madison store and pick it up there. I still need to call the Monona store to try to cancel the unfulfilled order at that store. Frankly, this whole process has been noting but friction and frustration. Because I have had experiences like this at Batteries Plus stores before, it is my store of last resort — I will buy a battery from you only if it is literally not available anywhere else. Sadly, the Batteries Plus Monona store did not fail to disappoint yet again. They know how to TAKE the reservation. They just don’t know how to HOLD the reservation. And, indeed, that is the most important part.
