Jake and his team are very prompt and easy to work with. We have over 800 apartments in Madison and he is our go-to-guy for lock related issues, lock-outs, mass duplication, blank keys.

I dropped off 32 garage keys(on a holiday weekend) and requested sets of 10 on a holiday, he had completed the 320 keys the following Monday.

He helped us with our pull handles, we could not find the part to replace and he found it right away for us.

He is very knowledgeable about all things keys and the art of being a locksmith. I highly highly recommend him for any job- big or small.

Wonderful customer service and the locksmith loved my dogs. I have a historic home and the dead bolts and levers they helped me pick out look really nice. I felt safe having them in my home and I love the quality of the door handles and dead bolts. The doors need a lot of refinishing and didn’t fit right, they took into account one of my doors was over 100 years old and after its refinished, it will look entirely original!

I don’t live in the area but wanted work done at my dad’s house, I asked some friends in the area for recommendations and they all said they heard good things about Chucks. They couldn’t have been more correct! Not only did Sam from chucks talk me through everything, he was very understanding, came out on a Saturday, he went to Home Depot, and waited for me to return. I would highly recommend this business, very honest and extremely fair prices. When I asked my friend how much he thought everything I wanted done should cost he thought close to $600… nope it was like $350… I thought it sounded too low for all the work. Please choose Chucks

not sure how good this locksmith is because it was an hour and a half before our call was returned. my neighbor was locked out of her house in freezing temps. i assumed we were never going to get a call back. i used a hammer and screwdriver and destroyed her existing doorknob then replaced the knob myself for a net $25 at ace hardware

Very disappointing experience. The key (one single house key) was almost $15!!! Then it wasn’t a clean cut, that’s an upcharge. So it’s sharp. I will definitely nor recommend or use again

I like the convenience of getting keys without someone’s help. The prices are way too high. Still cheaper to go to ace hardware and get one made. I like that it can car keys to now but still way expensive.

We arranged to have a new door knob and bolt lock installed and rekeyed to match our other doors. They never showed up on the arranged day and time, never called, and never answered any of our phone calls. I cannot recommend.
