I accidentally locked myself out of my car and called Half Price Unlocks for help. Ellis arrived quickly, was professional, and got my car unlocked without any damage. Joshua came out fast (all the way to Belfair!) and got me back into my house quick! The lock wasn’t easy but it was great talking with him, and he put a new deadbolt in with ease. I would highly recommend this company especially for home lockouts! Price wasn’t bad either!

Contacted Tacoma Lock & Key for a replacement of lost car key after losing them. The gentleman over the phone gathered my details for my vehichle shared upfront competitive pricing and had someone reach out immediately also gave me an expected arrival time. I needed a couple key blades cut and they were done within minutes. They worked perfectly. While there I also received excellent advice and knowledge regarding my specific application (transponder keys for an older Ford). Knowledgeable staff, friendly and helpful. Would 100% recommend.

Excellent is what I rate this business and definitely the employee that goes by the name Jr.
Junior was not only very professional but a joy to speak with. My grandson was in need of replacing his entire key fob for his 1st car.
Even though the car is over 10 years old, it tends to price very high everywhere. However puget sound Locksmith has very good prices.And with service like Jr. gives I highly recommend using them.
Right off the highway easy on and off by bremington Naval base as well.

Great experience. I had a fire proof safe that I lost the key to and he got it open quickly for a good price. The place is a little hard to find, but when I called the owner guided me there so I had no issues.

I called about door keys not working on my Ford pickup and was told to bring it down to their office. They worked on it for 30 minutes and they were able to fix the door locks without having to replace anything. When I went to pay they said no charge. I had a wonderful experience with Jason Womack at CarKey Connect. He came out to my home in Tacoma, WA to cut a spare key and pair a new key fob, and the whole process was refreshingly straightforward. Jason was upfront about costs—very reasonable—and his quick, friendly approach put me at ease from the start. It felt like dealing with a neighbor who genuinely cares about getting the job done right. So far so good. I ordered spare keys for our Honda and Corolla. The Honda key works great. TBD on the Corolla and will know by next week. Key price is high compared to Ace Hardware for sure. Unfortunately Ace was unable to get the Honda blank key to work.
For reasons I have no idea why. I’d give 5 stars except high cost.

After leaving the review, Jennie at KeyMe’s main office contacted me and asked if she could assist. Unfortunately, because they use sub-contractors there was no way to address the actual problem caused by the initial technician, and I had to take my car to the dealership to address the problem. Jennie offered to cover the cost of the repair, however, which was very helpful.

Overall, I would suggest that KeyMe is fine for easy jobs like duplicating an ignition key, but anything more complicated (like programming a FOB) should be left to a more competent and local organization.

Again, though, Jennie at KeyMe was proactive in assisting with covering the cost of the repair.

Original Review:
The tech showed up, I needed an ignition key duplicated and a new FOB programmed. After ‘programming’ the new FOB, NEITHER of my fobs worked anymore, and I couldn’t even use the button inside the door to lock and unlock the driver side door. It worked perfectly before he messed with it.
He insisted it was something wrong with my car (again, it worked fine before he did anything) and then tried to charge me since he came out.
I told him I wasn’t paying and that he or another tech needed to fix my FOBs. He called me a liar and drove off.
I called the company only to be promised they would check with the tech and call me back.
They never called back.
Now I’m left with a door lock that only works when I use the physical key and 2 useless FOBs, and no follow up from a company that supposedly guarantees 100% satisfaction.
This company is crooked, avoid them at all costs.
