Two days prior to moving cross country and shipping my car, I realized my spare key was missing. Denise gave me a call shortly after I left a voicemail and was able to help me get a spare on the same day for a very fair price! So grateful for their help… Highly recommend this place!

I had a very disappointing experience with this company.

When I first called the office, the call was abruptly disconnected without any explanation. Shortly after, a technician called me directly and provided a quote. Later that afternoon, I contacted him again to schedule the service. He told me he would arrive within 45 minutes. After waiting and him being more than 50 minutes late, I informed him that it no longer worked for me and that we could continue the service another day.

The following day, I called again. The technician said he was not in my area and would contact me when he was. By the evening, I followed up and received no response at all.

On the third day, I contacted the office to explain the situation. I was told another technician would reach out, but once again, no one ever did.

Overall, the communication was extremely poor, and I was repeatedly stood up. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company if you value reliability and basic professionalism.

UPDATE: I am pleased to announce that after purchasing another fob from a different locksmith, I have yet to have any technical difficulties with remote start, locking or unlocking my vehicle using my REPLACEMENT fob in over a year!!!

Imagine leaving your vehicle running locking the door with the fob upon exiting and go to get back into your vehicle and the fob doesn’t work!!!! Well that’s what happens when you listen to THE KEY GUY Mr I didn’t sell you a defective key fob.

After getting a YELP notification that the owner responded I had to respond!

I called here after a family member lost a transponder key. They were here in just a couple hours and it took them MAYBE 15 minutes to have two keys made! Great experience. The locksmith was wonderful at his job and the price was very reasonable. Will definitely come here again! The only thing I regret is not having more cash on me to tip!!!
