Tuesday afternoon, I had the awesome pleasure of meeting Mr. Maurice, The Southern Lock Doctor. He was very courteous and professional. Despite me not having the lock readily available, he waited patiently (while I was spazzing out because I thought I knew where I left it). He arrived promptly at 2pm to install a digital smart lock to my front door. Without delay he started installing the handles and deadbolt and was done well within an hour. Normally, this service would have cost $200 or maybe even $300 but it was no where near that price. So I am very thankful for Mr. Maurice dedicated services to our communities. I informed him I would definitely use him again in the near future.

We have used Paul professionally dozens and dozens of times, with the services ranging from security re-programming, chip key replacement, lock cylinder reflashing, etc. and he has always been punctual, courteous, and fair. This team is amazing! I was working in the Tappahannock area and needed a locksmith. Many I called could not support the rekeying needed to be done on a commercial property. When looking to match keys to doors/locks one key worked. Inspecting the key I noticed a phone number. It was “The Locksmith” so I called. Their understanding on needs and the urgency was absolutely clear. They were onsite in an hour, repairs and replacements for 5 locks all keyed identical was completed in 2 hours. Amazing performance and cost! Highly recommend this team! Excellence at a very fair price!

My experience with LKS Locksmiths was excellent. My initial call was answered prompt and pleasant. My service requested was at a very fair price. Daniel also made a security recommendation that was also very reasonable in cost which I included in my visit. He was communicative with me via phone call and text prior to his appointment time and he arrived within the timeframe that was given. Daniel completed the service in a tidy and expedient manner. I highly recommend LKS and Daniel for his professional locksmith services. Based on this first time visit, I would definitely utilize this trust worthy company again. We reached out over a month ago to get a key fab door access with electronic door lock installed for our gym. We got strong along for over a month by there employee Skyler even after following their requests for pictures and videos to help figure install out. Then just completely ghosted when we tried to follow up after they said they would get back to us. Didn’t have a chance to even get a tech in to get a quote. 0/10 customer service experience.

These people are fake locksmiths. They advertise as being mobile locksmiths but just straight up take peoples money. A lot of times they charge $160 dollars to unlock a car up front and charge you $80 to cancel. They take your money and call actual locksmiths and try to get them to do it for $90 or whatever. They’re out of New York or something and advertise everywhere in Virginia that they are actual locksmiths. They charge way too much up front. Real locksmiths would never do that.

They literally call and email other locksmiths to do the same job for them for less. They are basically a 3rd party who just calls other locksmiths. Then half the time they don’t actually pay the actual locksmiths who did the job for them.

These people are a straight up scam and idk how they are legally getting away with it. If they have a dcjs license for the business the dcjs needs to be made aware of these people.

The dcjs of Virginia needs to investigate these people for running a straight up scam.

Please. Don’t give these people a dime. Real locksmiths would never charge up front like that
