Key works. COST WAS $5.99. I was in shock. Looked at my text receipt. No idea how the total got to $7.34. HOLY CRAP! I thought I’d get a cute one but I didn’t want to pay the regular price. Could’ve paid extra $2.99 to make sure it was smooth!!! Geez!!!

My key fob had not been working well and I desperately needed a new one. I came here based on a personal recommendation. Laurie, helped me even though they were 15 mins from closing. This team is amazing! I was working in the Tappahannock area and needed a locksmith. Many I called could not support the rekeying needed to be done on a commercial property. When looking to match keys to doors/locks one key worked. Inspecting the key I noticed a phone number. It was “The Locksmith” so I called. Their understanding on needs and the urgency was absolutely clear. They were onsite in an hour, repairs and replacements for 5 locks all keyed identical was completed in 2 hours. LKS Locksmiths help we making duplicate fob keys for 2 used cars. One of them was an Audi, so the process was a bit more challenging. But throughout, the experience was professional and honest. Very personable and knowledgeable over the phone. When I got there, they figured out a better, less expensive solution to my situation. Rapidly programmed my key and fob, and cut an entry key. Tested all successfully. Bill was a little less than first estimated. There is a 3.5% charge for credit cards. That is becoming more common, so I was prepared with cash. Happy customer here. I would recommend.

I provided a key to be cut for my car by what I thought was a professional. However, they made a mistake with my key and they aren’t taking ownership of the mistake. A key is a key, and if it’s cut wrong then they should take ownership of said mistake and replace it. I am now left with a useless key that I can’t use. I wouldn’t recommend them to cut any key. Even if it is a key that they provide. Horrible experience and do not recommend.
