Tuesday afternoon, I had the awesome pleasure of meeting Mr. Maurice, The Southern Lock Doctor. He was very courteous and professional. Despite me not having the lock readily available, he waited patiently (while I was spazzing out because I thought I knew where I left it). He arrived promptly at 2pm to install a digital smart lock to my front door. Without delay he started installing the handles and deadbolt and was done well within an hour. Normally, this service would have cost $200 or maybe even $300 but it was no where near that price. So I am very thankful for Mr. Maurice dedicated services to our communities. I informed him I would definitely use him again in the near future.

We have used Paul professionally dozens and dozens of times, with the services ranging from security re-programming, chip key replacement, lock cylinder reflashing, etc. and he has always been punctual, courteous, and fair. The machine experience was fine. When all 3 keys came out though, all 3 were sharp and jagged with burrs. When I got home to try the keys, the 2 with the designs on them were trash. Neither worked at all. The brass key worked fine. Spent almost $18 for 1 key… Not a good experience at all and will not be buying any more from you.

I had a great experience here! We were having trouble replacing a couple of cylinders for roof ski clips that we don’t have the key for anymore, so I took them here and they were able to help very quickly! Patrick was very nice and the prices were reasonable as well.

Six dollars for a key seems a little expensive. And wanted to charge another three dollars or four dollars to have some special polishing to get off burrs which seems just completely ridiculous. Home Depot does that for free so does anywhere else that I’m aware of at least when they do it old school. I won’t give them less than four stars, even though the key didn’t work because the process of getting a refund was very easy. I looked at the two keys and held them up one against the other and was suspicions it wouldn’t work. And it didn’t. But they’re going to get four stars because the refund process was Easy and seamless.

I called Cofield looking to get a key made for my truck. 4 other people around Franklin recommended him. Without a doubt it was worth it. I made a call to the office and we set up a 2pm appointment the same day. He was on time and had me up and running in under 30 minutes. If you need a spare key made or you lost your key to your car, there is no one better to help you out.
