I’ve been in this shop a number of times and the owner is awesome. Lots of assistance and help finding what I need. Generous with his time. Small town one-on-one experience . I hate that this happened because this is what comes to mind when I think of going there now. Called first so I wouldn’t waste a drive. The woman (will remain nameless) talked over me and said some strange word that made no sense and put me on hold before I could correct her. She came back in seconds and said they don’t have that, try the pharmacy. She must have thought I was looking for some medicated bug bite treatment. I tried to make sure she understood what I was looking for and she just hung up while I was in mid sentence! Wow—left me with an unpleasant reaction.

They did not speak when I, the customer , came in and greeted them upon entry. He didn’t respond to anything I was trying to ask even after I
requested two house keys to be duplicated and explained how far I had to travel to even find a decent place to do it since I live in a very small town with little to no locksmiths available in the area.
He purposely messed up a simple house key when you can clearly see that it is not cut correctly and it is very sloppy work. They do not allow cash refunds so if he messes up, he’s not going to give you a refund even though that should be an option, especially if you know you’re not the best at what you do so of course people will be requesting a refund. It’s a scam when a business specifically says no cash refund. Very strange.

My experience with LKS Locksmiths was excellent. My initial call was answered prompt and pleasant. My service requested was at a very fair price. Daniel also made a security recommendation that was also very reasonable in cost which I included in my visit. He was communicative with me via phone call and text prior to his appointment time and he arrived within the timeframe that was given. Daniel completed the service in a tidy and expedient manner.
