I called Cofield looking to get a key made for my truck. 4 other people around Franklin recommended him. Without a doubt it was worth it. I made a call to the office and we set up a 2pm appointment the same day. He was on time and had me up and running in under 30 minutes. If you need a spare key made or you lost your key to your car, there is no one better to help you out.

A Long Overdue but Well-Deserved Review
Last year, my brother borrowed my Suburban to drive from Maryland to Florida. While passing through Virginia, the transmission blew. In a scramble, he found Mike’s Auto and Truck Repair LLC through a quick Google search. Initially, I was skeptical about leaving my truck at a local repair shop instead of taking it to a Chevy dealer—but I’m so thankful he did.
Although I never met Mike in person, he gained my trust from the very first phone call. He was quick to respond, incredibly knowledgeable, and had excellent phone etiquette. You could tell he genuinely cared about helping.
Mike went above and beyond—he even called in a favor from his trusted transmission expert. He and his team worked tirelessly, sometimes staying as late as 10 PM, to completely rebuild the transmission. Amazingly, they had it ready for pickup just in time for my brother’s return trip from Florida.
At one point, I asked Mike about doing some additional work I thought might be needed. He could’ve easily said yes and charged me for it—but instead, he gave me his honest opinion and said it wasn’t necessary at the time. That level of integrity is rare. I also want to note that he was almost $2000 cheaper than what I was quoted from shops here in Maryland.
To this day, my Suburban is still running like it’s brand new. I’m beyond grateful for Mike and his team, and I can’t recommend them highly enough!
