Tuesday afternoon, I had the awesome pleasure of meeting Mr. Maurice, The Southern Lock Doctor. He was very courteous and professional. Despite me not having the lock readily available, he waited patiently (while I was spazzing out because I thought I knew where I left it). He arrived promptly at 2pm to install a digital smart lock to my front door. Without delay he started installing the handles and deadbolt and was done well within an hour. Normally, this service would have cost $200 or maybe even $300 but it was no where near that price. So I am very thankful for Mr. Maurice dedicated services to our communities. I informed him I would definitely use him again in the near future.

I had an issue with my Jeep Grand Cherokee fob. Upon my brother’s recommendation I went to B& D Lock Company and received the BEST service. 100% recommend this place! I lost the key to my safe and they were able to make me a key very quickly! They are courteous, prompt and get the job done! Not only that, but the kind gentleman carried the heavy safe into my car for me. That was very kind of him considering I had my sleeping infant with me. Jacob came out to fix my front door locks and deadbolt yesterday. He did an amazing job, spent extra time to get it precisely adjusted. He did not charge me for that extra time. He was also delightful to work with and very professional. I will definitely be a repeat customer in the future. I highly recommend them!!!

Came into town for the holiday and we accidentally locked ourselves out of the cabin we rented. The owner did not live nearby and no other key close by. We were leaving the next morning on a Sunday. Called Mountain State Lock and the owner was 100 miles away but said he could stop after and help me out. Price was great and service was great. Definitely saved the day.

I called to see if they would add a pouch onto the back of a leather tote bag. Person said they don’t take new items just repairs because the leather supplies except the sewing machine was not kept at the store. I told her, that’s all I need, just sew on a pouch for me. This person let out the largest sigh and said “what kind of pouch is it?”. I don’t want to force anyone to take my money so I told her if they didn’t need the work, I would go elsewhere. She let me go. Crazy! If you have a business, don’t you want to actually do business?

These people are fake locksmiths. It’s nothing more than a kiosk that miscuts house keys. They charge $160 up front to unlock your car. Then charge you $80 to cancel. It’s a call center out of New York. They take your money then call actual locksmiths and try to pay them $90 to do the same job.

It’s literally a scam. Idk how they are legally getting away with it. It’s a 3rd party. Scam, scam, scam. These are the people who make locksmiths as a whole look bad.

A real locksmith company would never charge you up front like how these people do. The dcjs needs to investigate these people for fraud. All it is a kiosk that cuts house keys for way too much. Insanely overpriced.
And it’s because they call other locksmiths and try to pay them to do it.

Please, please, please do NOT give these people a dime. Ace, Lowe’s, Home Depot all make you pay afterwards.

Please don’t give them any money for car keys.

They have no actual locksmiths of their own. It’s a nation wide scam. They do the same thing your insurance company does when you need roadside assistance. Progressive insurance doesn’t come out. They pay another company to do it.

Same way except you actually pay them $160 or more.

It’s a straight up scam

While it is convenient and fast, I had 3 keys, made 2 keys. One free, which gave me a total of 3 at $15. Total. You would think one of them would work. However, all 3 of them did not work. Now I have to go through the process of remaking the keys or trying to send the others back which is not convenient.And FYI, they say they are cheaper making a car key. However, they want double of what A key making place charges. Yes, it’s probably cheaper than a dealership, but not cheaper in total plus if my house key doesn’t work, why would I pay a $150 for a car key that will not work?

I experienced the QUICKEST and BEST customer service. My call was answered on the first try and I received next day assistance in getting an entire doorknob replaced while being able to keep the same keys. I would recommend over and over again!
