My experience with LKS Locksmiths was excellent. My initial call was answered prompt and pleasant. My service requested was at a very fair price. Daniel also made a security recommendation that was also very reasonable in cost which I included in my visit. He was communicative with me via phone call and text prior to his appointment time and he arrived within the timeframe that was given. Daniel completed the service in a tidy and expedient manner. I highly recommend LKS and Daniel for his professional locksmith services. Based on this first time visit, I would definitely utilize this trust worthy company again. No kidding, y’all! This really happened! The key lanyard to our RV, which is usually worn around my neck, was left on the front seat when we walked outside to setup our University of Florida Tailgate RV Site for the Gator Game; Our dog, who was inside the RV, jumped up on the seat and sat on the fob- LOCKING us out of our RV!!!! Never fear! Marcus, with Mobile Locksmith, John Blackburn & Son, answered our call for help! Marcus was friendly and professional upon calling their number, took all our information to locate us, said he’d be to us in 30 minutes, showed-up within 16 minutes, greeted us with a smile and a handshake, and had us unlocked in 30 seconds (no kidding!)! He thought he had seen it all, but “dog-locked-us-out-by-sitting-on-the-fob” was new to him, too! There is a stand alone kiosk at the Lowe’s I went to this weekend. It was so nice to be able to quickly have copies of my key made and not have to wait for an employee to come and help me. I was skeptical at first, but when I got home the keys worked like a charm. I thought this was a great service and will use again in the future.

When I placed a call for rekeying my doors I asked the dispatcher for a rough estimate? She told me that she had no idea as she was not familiar with the pricing also informed me that the tech would let me know. I didn’t think too much of it so I proceeded with my service appointment…Long story short I was not prepared for a $500 plus bill! The tech really worked with me and help get the bill down for a more reasonable rate. Overall satisfied with the service the Tech provided!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I was locked out of my car without my phone and had to wait for my boyfriend to help. Unbeknownst to me, he had called KeyMe to inquire about pricing. The technician refused to provide a price upfront, saying he would assess the situation first and then inform my boyfriend upon arrival because I had no phone.

When the technician finally arrived, he approached me as if everything was already arranged—without ever disclosing the cost. Only after he completed the job (which took him three seconds using a simple pump) did he tell me the outrageous charge: $195. He didn’t have to travel far; he was just down the road.

This business is completely non-transparent with pricing, and the service was absolutely not worth the cost. If I had known the price beforehand, I would have never agreed. This is a predatory practice, and I would love to get my money back.

Avoid this company at all costs unless you want to be blindsided by excessive charges!

Tuesday afternoon, I had the awesome pleasure of meeting Mr. Maurice, The Southern Lock Doctor. He was very courteous and professional. Despite me not having the lock readily available, he waited patiently (while I was spazzing out because I thought I knew where I left it). He arrived promptly at 2pm to install a digital smart lock to my front door. Without delay he started installing the handles and deadbolt and was done well within an hour. Normally, this service would have cost $200 or maybe even $300 but it was no where near that price. So I am very thankful for Mr. Maurice dedicated services to our communities. I informed him I would definitely use him again in the near future.

Jacob came out to fix my front door locks and deadbolt yesterday. He did an amazing job, spent extra time to get it precisely adjusted. He did not charge me for that extra time. He was also delightful to work with and very professional. I will definitely be a repeat customer in the future. I highly recommend them!!!

Eventually, the technician showed up unlock my car when was trying to charge me 275 when I never agreed to it he showed up in a Honda Civic very unprofessional didn’t even have a store to reach my truck Which is funny because he said it was 275 because it was a larger vehicle when I provided him with a step ladder that I had in my truck to unlock it

Now I never am the person to complain because I understand that things change when it comes to business. I’ve worked in customer service since I was 16 and I am now 20 years old so I tend to have more patience for stuff like this. But this is absolutely ridiculous!! When I first booked the Smith I got told that is would be $152 and some change and that they would arrive in THIRTY MINUTES!!! If I knew it was going to take OVER AND HOUR I would have taken my business somewhere else! So after waiting the thirty minutes I check my messages and see that they changed it to the 75-105 minute wait!! So I called back because I had some other things to do before I go to work and I tell the lady who picked up the phone that what she said was wrong and it is a bit ridiculous that she said thirty minutes and then I get messaged something completely different and how I didn’t have the time to wait that long. So she switched me over to customer service that was WORSE I told him the situation and he said that he would check for me. 30 minutes pass and I was getting a little frustrated but I calmed myself down because I thought well if he is taking this long he is doing something about it! WRONG I WAS ON THE PHONE FOR OVER AN HOUR!! Only TWO things this man said first when he picked up the phone telling me who he is and then saying he will try and fixe the problem! All he did was nothing for over an hour waisting my time and my money!! I picked this place because I saw the good reviews out way the bad but apparently not at all at the kilmonic VA!! If you call I will just say now DO NOT CALL THIS PLACE IT IS ATROCIOUS!!!
