I brought a set of keys to Ashley’s so they could make a knob and a deadbolt to fit the two keys accordingly. The lady took my name and phone number, as well as the keys and said they would call me, it was well over a month before I decided to go to Ashley‘s. Where they never made the locks that I requested, they misplaced the keys. I gave them and the phone number that was attached to it all. I am a contractor and this particular interaction caused me to take 30+ days to install a simple lock and deadbolt. After installation, the homeowner refused to pay me because it took so long. I also brought them a mailbox key for them to copy, the one that they made me will not even fit in the keyhole. I have brought it back to them twice and even requested my money back. I still have the key that doesn’t fit and never got reimbursed for my mailbox key that doesn’t fit!

Lowes had this machine to make keys, I used it before and had problems but thought they had repaired it. So tried again for this house with no luck again. I think it is in the user as well as the machine. when the start button is applied and the key has been installed , the clamp is very fast to clamp the key . It is possible the key is being positioned improperly because of this. There should be a pause and request to hold key still before the clamp is applied. Yes there is a cancel button to stop the procedure but who knows if it was in right or not. Don’t think it is just right yet. Great Idea but needs a little more dummy proof installed.

I called over 12 hrs ago. The you g lady that answered was friendly enough, that’s the ONLY reason for the one star. She asked me info and my car and the assistance I needed and said a technician would call me soon to make sure my “phone line was open”. It’s almost 14 hrs later and still no phone call. It threw me off a little when I called the number and it was a Texas number, then when I didn’t get receive a call, I looked at the reviews (guess I should have done that first, but when you’re desperately in need of help) and I’m thinking that maybe this business is just a scam, a front for something else. Definitely something off when a business doesn’t want to make a few hundred bucks.

Came into town for the holiday and we accidentally locked ourselves out of the cabin we rented. The owner did not live nearby and no other key close by. We were leaving the next morning on a Sunday. Called Mountain State Lock and the owner was 100 miles away but said he could stop after and help me out. Price was great and service was great. Definitely saved the day.

I called Cofield looking to get a key made for my truck. 4 other people around Franklin recommended him. Without a doubt it was worth it. I made a call to the office and we set up a 2pm appointment the same day. He was on time and had me up and running in under 30 minutes. If you need a spare key made or you lost your key to your car, there is no one better to help you out.
