Excellent place! Saved me hundreds of dollars when they were able to program a replacement key fob for my Ford Explorer that I purchased on Amazon. Only took about 10 minutes and all functions on the fob work perfectly. Bonus… they even cut the emergency stowed hard key for the fob. They were much lower cost than other locksmiths I called in Harrisonburg and only one of a few who will program after market fobs. Highly recommend!!

Mike was exceptional from start to finish. From the very first call, he gave a clear and honest quote with no beating around the bush. What he quoted is exactly what it cost. I truly appreciated and loved that transparency, especially knowing my uncle is a retired veteran living on a very limited income.

My uncle is 88 years old, and losing his only car key was incredibly stressful, especially with important health appointments scheduled for Monday. I live in Texas, so I was extremely anxious about him being stranded and unable to get help quickly. Mike accommodated him on a Saturday right after Christmas on the 27th and handled everything promptly, professionally, & with genuine care.

Mike was patient, respectful, & took the time to explain what he was doing. He made two full working keys, one primary and one spare, & made sure everything worked perfectly before leaving.

LKS Locksmiths help we making duplicate fob keys for 2 used cars. One of them was an Audi, so the process was a bit more challenging. But throughout, the experience was professional and honest. The communication was excellent and the appointments were respected timely. I’m very satisfied with the service and will definitely use them again if needed. Highly recommended.

The tech returned my call quickly, and quoted at LEAST $50. Once he arrived and opened the door in under 60 seconds, he reveals that the cost is over $300 after tax. If you decide you don’t want to pay, an $85 dispatch fee is requested and then they want to LOCK THE KEY BACK in the car because the dispatch fee is not the service fee. I was trying to beat a quote from another business that $130-$160 (which I should have taken, in hindsight).

Long story short, this business is playing a dangerous game with price gouging, and deceptive pricing. At the end of the day though, I got my key and did not pay $300+. Be safe.

I keep getting customers who are claiming that KeyMe offers locksmith services outside of duplication kiosks in our area, but then (after taking money upfront) will have them wait hours for an available tech only to tell them *essentially* “My bad, Nevermind”. Not only that, I’ve had multiple reports of money not being returned in a timely manner or potentially at all. As an actual locksmith, please treat your customers better.
