Tuesday afternoon, I had the awesome pleasure of meeting Mr. Maurice, The Southern Lock Doctor. He was very courteous and professional. Despite me not having the lock readily available, he waited patiently (while I was spazzing out because I thought I knew where I left it). He arrived promptly at 2pm to install a digital smart lock to my front door. Without delay he started installing the handles and deadbolt and was done well within an hour. Normally, this service would have cost $200 or maybe even $300 but it was no where near that price. So I am very thankful for Mr. Maurice dedicated services to our communities. I informed him I would definitely use him again in the near future.

Initially I did the locksmith near me and called from that list. All of those were call centers that were not helpful. MD Lock Doc was the only one that answered his own phone. Mitch gave me a price over the phone and was at the house in 30 minutes. He had my truck unlocked in less than a minute.
Very friendly, reliable, and most of all, the best price!
I’m keeping his number and highly recommend him!

We have used Paul professionally dozens and dozens of times, with the services ranging from security re-programming, chip key replacement, lock cylinder reflashing, etc. and he has always been punctual, courteous, and fair. Came into town for the holiday and we accidentally locked ourselves out of the cabin we rented. The owner did not live nearby and no other key close by. We were leaving the next morning on a Sunday. Called Mountain State Lock and the owner was 100 miles away but said he could stop after and help me out. Price was great and service was great. Definitely saved the day.

I got the get 2 and one free deal. $7.99 each none of the keys work! I paid $17 something for keys that don’t work. I feel like I just wasted money. It was the “key making” machine at Walmart in Jonesville VA. Very disappointed

Two days prior to moving cross country and shipping my car, I realized my spare key was missing. Denise gave me a call shortly after I left a voicemail and was able to help me get a spare on the same day for a very fair price! So grateful for their help… Highly recommend this place!
