This was a wonderful and delightful situation, Jacob was extremely helpful. knowledgeable and has a passion for his crafted. I’m so lucky to have found them and he made everything work out so easy, understanding and overall great customer service skills. No rip off, just a person who’s honest and upfront about the services he was providing. Hopefully I wouldn’t need them again, but if I’m ever in this situation I’ll be sure to reach out to him first. I’m so happy with my results and he was done in no time at all. Oh and did I mention he even came and picked me up! Now talk about over & beyond. Amazing customer service. The response was instant and the staff was great to work with. Knowledgeable about all types of keys (old and new). Great selection of key fobs and keys.

After speaking with staff about home security, they are now re-keying my home.

This is the best key duplicate shop I’ve ever visited .my daughter call on phone for a quote for my fob key duplicate and we have a blank key fob. They ask us to come to store and right away they cut my blank spare key fob. It was really really affordable I was surprised how quick it is. In california they charge me a lot when I ask for a quote and sometimes they don’t want to do it in ace hardware for some reason. But in KeyWest here in virginia wow no question ask i give my original key and blank Fob key they duplicate right away. I definitely refer this and give it a 5 star.

This team is amazing! I was working in the Tappahannock area and needed a locksmith. Many I called could not support the rekeying needed to be done on a commercial property. When looking to match keys to doors/locks one key worked. Inspecting the key I noticed a phone number. It was “The Locksmith” so I called. Their understanding on needs and the urgency was absolutely clear. They were onsite in an hour, repairs and replacements for 5 locks all keyed identical was completed in 2 hours. Amazing performance and cost! Highly recommend this team! Excellence at a very fair price!

Less than 24 hours before my appointment, I spoke with the office and confirmed as well as with the technician. I was even communicating with the technician providing pictures required. My appointment was canceled claiming that they tried to reach out to me to confirm… What is the point of scheduling and confirming with the technician less than 24 hours before the appointment, if I have to do it again the next day? Furthermore, if your business is so loosely organized that you required daily confirmations, perhaps inform your customers of that so they can expect your call.

I went there about a month ago asking them to make a new 2006 Honda accord key and program it and they said they will order it for me then program it and call me back 3-4 days later. 3-4 days pass and I get no call back. So I end up going back up there and their color on their office hours and it was not a holiday or anything it was a regular day. Then I came again a day later asking for a new key again!!!! They told me it was just my car and pushed away their service. Do not go to them for car keys.

Called to get a quote for changing my locks on my front door. The gentleman told me that his brother was going to give me a call which he did in a timely manner. Spoke to Sean which was the brother and I explained what I wanted and we discussed numbers over the phone after sending him photos of what I originally had. I was adamant to get it done today and he informed me that he was able to do that. That was what I wanted plus the price was good for me as well. He arrived when he said he would and took a moment to explain to me the new locks. I was impressed with how they operated and was more functional than what I originally had. While replacing the locks he noticed my door hinges were off and even took time to get the front door to be in lined. After he was done I checked everything out and even spoke to him about other projections in the near future. If you want to replace any locks or even program keys for your vehicle I would recommend this company. His work was efficient and going above just standard with his craft.

Not sure if this is the normal schedule or a recent change, but the shop wasn’t open on Saturday. I stopped by around 10:30 AM and it was completely closed—lights off and the door locked. The sign on the door says they should be open, and the automated phone message says the same. I spoke with someone (likely an emergency dispatcher) who also confirmed the store should be open. They said they would relay my message, but I never heard back.

First key came out great and worked perfectly. Second key did not work at all. May be because I chose a key with a design because I noticed a slight discrepancy in the key that printed out as compared to the original key and it made me wonder if somehow the design threw off the cut. Not sure. But outside of that, fast, easy service in minutes!

Made 3 copies of the key I needed. They worked, no problem. My only issue is there was no option for a PRINTED receipt (which is what I would have preferred) but it forced my to give my # for a text receipt. The text receipt never came through but this text asking for a review did. So here is my review.
