Great local lock shop. Fast, easy key service — forget those kiosks. I came in to get keys made for my truck and Ray cut them on the spot. Highly recommend.

Not sure if this is the normal schedule or a recent change, but the shop wasn’t open on Saturday. I stopped by around 10:30 AM and it was completely closed—lights off and the door locked. The sign on the door says they should be open, and the automated phone message says the same. I spoke with someone (likely an emergency dispatcher) who also confirmed the store should be open. They said they would relay my message, but I never heard back.

I went to Home Depot and Lowes to try to make a spare key but they weren’t able duplicate it due to the type of key it was. It was a newer type key with a special pattern. I went into Baldino and they were able to make me a spare with no issues. I was in and out in about 5 minutes. Great service. I believe they also do car keys.

While i felt the keys were expensive at $9 a key, I was in a place where I needed the service so was happy to pay it. Very convenient in the Safeway store in Middleburg, VA and very technologically advanced machine to make keys. Thumbs up! .

Zono (+ the team here) were able to copy my Mustang’s key for a spare—complete with electronics and the emergency hard copy. He knew right what to do! They’re clearly very knowledgeable, as well as personable, quick, and local to me. The keys are near identical, and coming here saved me the dealership’s markup I would have to pay just for the pony logo. Thanks again!

I recently bought a new truck and loved that they had a feature to move the roof rack from the roof to the bed of the truck. Only problem was they didnt have a key at the dealer. Baldino’s to the rescue I learned a bit about SKS locks, had some great banter with an expert locksmith, and even got to see how the coding works for some of these lock cores. Fast service, expertise that is miles better quicker than learning on youtube. Check them out when you need a new key, new safe, or just a quick unlock.

Honestly, I believe the average person would find it difficult to work through the directions that are illuminated on the screen. Also, the placement of the kiosk in the Giant Food store was awful. We had to ask an employee on duty where the machine was located. The advertised signage was not visible from any location in the store. Lastly, after the keys were produced and released to us, we were patiently waiting for our receipt, and surprisingly, the receipt appeared in my email; accessible via my phone. Please realize that customers are not mind readers. The key making process/directions should be easily understood from start to finish.😊

100% recommend this place! I lost the key to my safe and they were able to make me a key very quickly! They are courteous, prompt and get the job done! Not only that, but the kind gentleman carried the heavy safe into my car for me. That was very kind of him considering I had my sleeping infant with me. Came into town for the holiday and we accidentally locked ourselves out of the cabin we rented. The owner did not live nearby and no other key close by. We were leaving the next morning on a Sunday. Called Mountain State Lock and the owner was 100 miles away but said he could stop after and help me out. Price was great and service was great. Definitely saved the day.

Called last night because an elderly neighbor was locked out of his house and asked for help locating a locksmith. Initially they were helpful and even helped us through some communication issues (language barriers).
