We had an amazing experience! The couple that came out and helped were so sweet and helpful. We accidentally locked our keys out of our truck. They arrived quickly, and got the truck unlocked in no time! They were very informative about other questions we had. I can’t say enough great things about JAY’S 24 HOUR Locksmith. Jay went above and beyond to help me out of a bad situation.

I was driving a UHual moving truck and had stopped in Wellington for gas when the key to the truck suddenly stopped working. Jay quickly figured out that it was due to the key no longer communicating with the anti-theft device in the truck.

He then made up a new set of keys and got me back on the road.

It was late in the day and there was a point in the process where he could have abandoned the job and left me to the mercy of UHual roadside assistance, but he didn’t do that. He went above and beyond to make sure I didn’t end up stranded, and I’m immensely grateful for that.

He was extremely knowledgeable and also very friendly. I’m really glad to have met him.

If you have any locksmith needs I wouldn’t hesitate to give Jay a call.

Very happy with the service received, these guys are honest, with more than reasonable prices.

At time of calling for a quote they gave a thorough break down of the process, and each of the fees associated- and even advise on what I can do for free through the dealership first, to save some money with them so they don’t have to charge me! I’m sure most other places would be happy to up charge anywhere they can. It really shows how they value the customer, and saving the customer as much money as possible.

I had to wait a couple of days for my key fob to be ordered in, but no big deal. Again, they could have just come out no questions asked, got the key and charged me- only to tell me they don’t have the fob and they would need to come back out for that and charge another programming fee, but Gabe informed me of the special order needed, and I had the option to get both services done under one programming fee, so thank you!

Lastly, they were flexible and accommodating. John came to my home where my car was to make the key while I was at work. Then he waited for me at the store to come pick up my new key, and stayed 40 minutes past close just so I could get my keys that same day! I highly recommend these guys

My very first time visiting today and the wonderful woman working there helped me get a new key fob for my car. My previous key fob was falling apart and was held on with duct tape. Literally took 5 mins and only costed me under $70. Biggest bonus for me was she was super sweet towards my 4 year old daughter and offered her candy. Thank you Backus for the incredible and genuine service.

I had a rough experience here. The customer service agent quoted me a price on a chip card key, which seemed acceptable, and I certainly didn’t have an issue with that. But the problem I did have was with his lack of transparency with his additional fees. Apparently they charged an additional 3 1/2 percent if one uses a debit/credit card. If I had been notified of the additional charge, I would have gladly paid with cash. It would have been nice to have been given the option.

Went to get key cut and try to get fobs programmed, however the vehicle seemed to have some issues. Both employees who helped me were very courteous and went the extra mile, in addition, the key I had cut turned out not to be useful.Because of the programming issue , and I was not charged for anything. More than fair I’d say.

Went inside planning to ask a quote to fix my car fob, thinking that I needed a new battery. The kind representative with an awesome red beard opened it and checked the battery, said that the battery was fine. Then he opened the mechanism to find that there was a built up of grease and dirt under all the contract points on the buttons. He cleaned it up, and now my fob works just fine. I asked how much it would be and he told me it was on the house. I’m coming back here for all of my future key needs.

These guys can cut any key or answer any question. Love going in there and saying ok I’ve got a hard one for you and he goes, “ha, that’s an easy one, we’ve got it!”

They’re less money than Home Depot and have every key! Save yourself the hassle and go see these guys!

This is a scam! I scheduled from their online site to come to my home. The order “disappeared”. I called the phone number on their website. They scheduled another person who showed up an hour late from the new time, but he did get a working key (for $300+!!!). The next day, I got a call saying I missed the appointment. ?????
They insist I’m in the wrong and they never had a new appointment. They say I should have called them. I did. They say I should be more careful. HOW??????? It was THEIR WEBSITE!!!
Here I am 2 weeks later and the key buttons don’t work. The phone number for the main company doesn’t go through.
Next time I’ll pay more to go to the car dealership. At least then I might at least have valid workmanship!
