These guys are awesome. I’m a general contractor so I usually can easily tell if someone is knowledgeable and knows exactly what they’re doing. And I am one to tell you that these guys are the best out there. Lance did a great job and was fast and friendly. 10 out of 10!

This company changed my daughter $340 for a simple unlock service on a 2013 kia Rio! She is young and they took advantage of her. She asked the price they told her they wouldn’t know till they came out, they came out and she asked the price and he barely spoke English, told her he wouldn’t know until he opened it, told her not to worry the insurance would pay for it, then after he opened it sent her a venmo for $340. She had to borrow $ to figure out how to pay him. ALSO damaged her door opening it, now you can hear the wind when driving down the road with the door closed.
Tried reaching out to the company, was told they will call back, been getting the run around.

Within 25 minutes during heavy traffic their technician was at my vehicle to help me get back into my car during a VERY cold day.

They were very professional and very kind. It was also cheaper than I expected.

I was recommended this place by another key company and I was happy for their honesty too.

$400 for a door open service. A literal scam. It’s hard to say no in the moment when you’re in a bad situation, but if you have glass coverage, just break a window and save yourself some money. Supporting this locksmith is a detriment to yourself and your community.

I found the directions appear easy enough, however, offers made offer no choice or yes or no, e.g., I purchased 4 keys only wanting 2 made. I found I could not reverse how many keys I wanted once I got to 4 keys. The process included an offer to plant a tree along with a choice for a different donation – either one for $1.00 each. I found I could choose one donation or another – no choice offered to save the $1.00 so I had to “donate” $1.00. Total is around $9.00; This smacks of dishonesty insofar forcing someone to pay more. Not cool.

Called the lock smith to get someone to come out and create a key. No quote. The technician called and said he would be there between 8:30 and 9 am well I found the keys at 9 am tech was still not there so I canceled the service they told me it was going to be 29.99 to cancel. I got charged 52.50 by them plus the tech wasn’t on time when he said he was there. Than he showed up at 9:15 to 9:30 and they didn’t even tell him it was canceled. I got overcharged what they told me and the tech was almost 1/2 an hour late from when he told me he would be there.

My very first time visiting today and the wonderful woman working there helped me get a new key fob for my car. My previous key fob was falling apart and was held on with duct tape. Literally took 5 mins and only costed me under $70. Biggest bonus for me was she was super sweet towards my 4 year old daughter and offered her candy. Thank you Backus for the incredible and genuine service.

Worst service ever. We have used them a few times, they used to be really good. I had them go rekey an ignition on one of our trucks that was stuck and all he did was drill it out, and overcharged me for it because I still had to get it fixed. Then we took another truck to be rekeyed by them. Took them 3 days to do it, then whenever we went to pick the truck up they were never there during business hours. On top of all of it, the cover that goes over the ignition was duct taped together when we picked it up. So they broke that without saying anything and just taped it up. DO NOT GO HERE.

My Locksmith was Justin. My experience was quick and wholesome. I requested an lockout service over the phone, within 15 – 20 minutes Justin arrived and in 5 minutes or less My vehicle was unlocked!

The Minute Key kiosk is convenient when one can’t find someone to cut a key. Unfortunately, the key I received from Minute Key fails to function. The blank selected by the kiosk is shorter than the original key. Looks like I wasted my money.
Update. Minute Key management refunded my money, so they did respond and made the effort to take care or the situation.
