The older fellow who’s been there for a while does good work and is pleasant to work with. He has cut a few different keys for me in the past for both a 4Runner and a motorcycle. The younger guy, not so much. He wasn’t happy about me bringing in 2 of my own chipped keys which I purchased online to have them cut there. He informed me they won’t guarantee those keys will work which I accepted knowing that risk already. What I didn’t anticipate is that when I’d get them back they would be cut too narrow and now don’t work at all, won’t even turn. Which means the key isn’t pushing the tumblers in far enough. The original key isn’t that worn and is visibly wider than the ones I gave them to cut. There’s no way of proving it but with how grumpy he was, to me it was obvious he just did it so I would have to buy one of their keys. Well kid, you earned yourself a scathing google review and ensured I personally will never return to support your business. Good job. Thanks for waisting my time and money.

To anyone else out there, if you buy keys online don’t take them here to have them cut.

Update 4 days later:
Just adding these photos. The first one is the original key the second is one of the 2 copies. Notice the different in width measuring at the same point of the key.

These guys can cut any key or answer any question. Love going in there and saying ok I’ve got a hard one for you and he goes, “ha, that’s an easy one, we’ve got it!”

They’re less money than Home Depot and have every key! Save yourself the hassle and go see these guys!

I had a key fob that was lost. Called company after struggling to find someone that could have the key fob that I needed. They did get me up and going but after 6 hours and the guy pushing on my phone when saying fraud may be detected I was was concerned. I called about being over charged and was called back and cursed and and called names. I was never able to explain what I was trying to say. They tried to claim it wasn’t the same company even after I gave them the number of the person who helped me and they said yes he worked for them and over charged you. I was scammed and should have known better. I was put in a difficult situation and was taken advantage of it.

Having a key made at the kiosk was very expensive. I probably will not ever use it again. There are much less expensive options out there.The key did however fit perfectly in my locks with no flaws.

I reached out for a pair of news keys after losing the only set for my car. They said they had to order it in so I’d have to wait 10 days, which I reluctantly did. I didn’t hear from them after 10 days so I called and followed up, but it seemed to me that they hadn’t even ordered my key and totally forgot that I’d called! They took my info again and said they’d use a local source that could get the key in 2-3 days since they knew I was locked out of my car. But still, a few days after not hearing anything, I called again. They said they had the key, but we quickly determined it was the wrong type–I’d told them at least 3 times my car was a push start but they had gotten a physical key. So I waited another week, only to have the exact same thing happen AGAIN! By this point I’d been locked out of my car for over 3 weeks.

I finally gave up and another place was able to come out and get me a new key within 24 hours. I didn’t inform Superior that I’d gotten someone else, thinking maybe they’d follow up and I could get a spare set from them, but they never reached out to finish my ticket…and it’s been months now. I couldn’t believe that they were so dismissive of someone who was so ready to pay them $$$. Very disappointed.

GO ANYWHERE ELSE. These guys will tell you it’s $40 to drive over to you and from there give you an estimate of how much they can take from you. When they arrive they’ll hurry as fast as they can to do the job regardless of the lock. They damaged my car with the airbags they used, and still demanded $180. They are a cheap excuse for a locksmith, looks like they spent $30 on their equipment, and for a job that took less than 5 minutes it’s a complete joke that they try to charge what they do. This whole business is a scam, I hope they get shut down soon. Shame on you guys for charging such stupidly unfair prices and for the obvious price manipulation you try to pull off on honest people. Wish I could 0 star this and review and send it to the irs as well.
