Do not use them. They blindsided me by charging 2x what other smiths do. Charged me $800+ for rekeying 2 locks and replacing entirely another lock. Technician didn’t tell me how much he was going to charge me and made me pay that total of $800+. More offensive is I was charged more for the repinning of the locks than replacing the locks entirely. If I’d known I would have just replaced entirely. And one door because of miscommunication ended up needing two different keys. Just the worst experience overall possible. I got scammed.

Man, words cannot explain how great my experience was with Colby from Extra Locksmith.

This man spent several hours getting me a replacement key after I unfortunately lost mine. Not only that, but he came back to rekey the blade due to a slight misfit in the key.

I was quoted over $1000 by the dealership and a few other locksmiths and Colby only charged me $525. Nearly 50% the cost of everyone else!

With how many scammers and sketchy locksmiths there are in the industry, I highly, highly recommend using Colby and his team. They were honest with their pricing quotes, extremely diligent in their work, and prioritized customer service more than I could have ever expected.

You would be stupid to go with any other locksmith in the valley other than Extra Locksmith.

Very happy with the service received, these guys are honest, with more than reasonable prices.

At time of calling for a quote they gave a thorough break down of the process, and each of the fees associated- and even advise on what I can do for free through the dealership first, to save some money with them so they don’t have to charge me! I’m sure most other places would be happy to up charge anywhere they can. It really shows how they value the customer, and saving the customer as much money as possible.

I had to wait a couple of days for my key fob to be ordered in, but no big deal. Again, they could have just come out no questions asked, got the key and charged me- only to tell me they don’t have the fob and they would need to come back out for that and charge another programming fee, but Gabe informed me of the special order needed, and I had the option to get both services done under one programming fee, so thank you!

Lastly, they were flexible and accommodating. John came to my home where my car was to make the key while I was at work. Then he waited for me at the store to come pick up my new key, and stayed 40 minutes past close just so I could get my keys that same day! I highly recommend these guys

Mike came out, after hours, was priced better than anyone else and performed an enormous amount of work. I’m a grateful for how honest and attentive he was. As you can see from the photo this was no small task. Thanks again

I didn’t like taking my entire keychain out with me during my workouts because it’s kind of bulky (and noisy). Minute Key solved that problem for just a few bucks. Now I carry a single, unobtrusive key to the house when walking or bicycling. Thanks for your service!

The key we finally were able to make works perfectly, but so many options like clicking on some of the lower priced keys, buying 3 keys for the price of 2, and using a credit card didn’t work, although the machine indicated all options were available. We almost quit trying thinking the machine was broken because nothing happened despite several selections.
