They installed a lock on a new commercial space and left it butchered for over $500. 7 months later its completely falling apart and it took us an hour to get in to the space. Now its out of warranty so we need to pay a real professional to come replace the horrible work that was done. I should have known I was going to have issues when it took 2 people 4 hours to get a lock installed. The guy had to take half a dozen smoke breaks right in front of the door so we got to enjoy that while. to work through what I thought would be a simple swap. Pictures are right after they finished their work. Now that I know they don’t cover their bad work I guess its good to force me to find a real professional.

I previously needed help to open the same door. Someone from another company came to open it, using a lock pick. I paid $60 for the service and was satisfied. Now I decided to call you and a man arrived who did not have lockpicks and therefore used a drill to break my lock and open the door and then he told me that the value of the service was $170 if I paid with Venmo, and $149 if I paid with cash. I paid $150 because the man I didn’t have any change and it seems like theft to pay so much money to destroy my lock. For that I would have broken my door myself. I would never recommend them.

I reached out for a pair of news keys after losing the only set for my car. They said they had to order it in so I’d have to wait 10 days, which I reluctantly did. I didn’t hear from them after 10 days so I called and followed up, but it seemed to me that they hadn’t even ordered my key and totally forgot that I’d called! They took my info again and said they’d use a local source that could get the key in 2-3 days since they knew I was locked out of my car. But still, a few days after not hearing anything, I called again. They said they had the key, but we quickly determined it was the wrong type–I’d told them at least 3 times my car was a push start but they had gotten a physical key. So I waited another week, only to have the exact same thing happen AGAIN! By this point I’d been locked out of my car for over 3 weeks.

I finally gave up and another place was able to come out and get me a new key within 24 hours. I didn’t inform Superior that I’d gotten someone else, thinking maybe they’d follow up and I could get a spare set from them, but they never reached out to finish my ticket…and it’s been months now. I couldn’t believe that they were so dismissive of someone who was so ready to pay them $$$. Very disappointed.

Lost mailbox key, called keyme locksmith. He told me $89 for the trip, upon arrival, he told me he can’t pick the lock but can drill it, so he used a hand drill to remove the lock, literally 3 seconds, then he asked me what kind of lock I want, one is $249 another is $189, plus that 3 seconds he spent to took the old lock off is $199. After add all the numbers I told him it is too much, he said if I give him 5 star review he will do It for $300 total. This feels like a scam, or someone tell me this price is normal!!

This key making kiosk is fantastic- it was convenient as I excited Walmart, it was a better value than another key making kiosk (I didn’t get past their pricing..yikes!). The Minute key was fast and easy to use. I made three house keys without any pain or suffering and tried them all in my front door…ALL worked! Five stars for the whole experience and product!

Man, words cannot explain how great my experience was with Colby from Extra Locksmith.

This man spent several hours getting me a replacement key after I unfortunately lost mine. Not only that, but he came back to rekey the blade due to a slight misfit in the key.

I was quoted over $1000 by the dealership and a few other locksmiths and Colby only charged me $525. Nearly 50% the cost of everyone else!

With how many scammers and sketchy locksmiths there are in the industry, I highly, highly recommend using Colby and his team. They were honest with their pricing quotes, extremely diligent in their work, and prioritized customer service more than I could have ever expected.

You would be stupid to go with any other locksmith in the valley other than Extra Locksmith.

It was easy to use, but I made the key when I got home to test the key out it was stuck in my door knob and it didn’t open the door. They key did not work. So i then thought maybe it was the machine sent my brother to another one at a different wal mart and same thing happened they key does not work! Waist of money I’m pretty upset if I could rate this 0 stars I would.
