I was in the area today and decided to stop by this place since it was literally next door lol! (Dropping off a package) My car key fob was messed up and was wondering if there was anything that could be done for it. An employee named Ray was there and was VERY helpful with my problem! Unfortunately he didn’t have the right kind of battery that my key needed BUT he was able to show me how to replace the battery myself and what kind of battery it needed☺️ I will DEFINITELY make this my go-to business for my key/locksmith issues. I only give 4/5 since he didn’t have the battery on-hand lol. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Out of 5 ⭐s!

Edit: they sent someone out to fix my fob!
I hate leaving bad reviews but after trying to reach them numerous times and no one ever calling us back (although I was promised a call back “in a few minutes”), I have too. They did a great job re-fobing my car but a month and a half later, the fob is no longer working. We have tried calling to find out next steps, but cannot reach anyone to help us. This was an expensive re-fob and just need help with next steps. So great service, but if you need help afterward, good luck.

Several months ago, the key for my 2015 Ford F-150 broke off the fob. Initially, I attempted to use pliers to start the vehicle, but after two months, the key was severely damaged, and starting the vehicle became impossible. The dealership quoted nearly $400 per key, requiring an in-person visit. I searched online and found Lone Star Locksmith Services with excellent ratings. I contacted them, and Jacob promptly came to my residence, providing an outstanding service. I now have two new keys and fobs, including a valet key, all completed at my home. Found a solution to a very expensive situation I had about a programmed car key replacement. I literally saved myself at least $200 and most importantly, my precious time. I was so happy to find a friendly & welcoming business! JD & Francisco make a great team! Thank you both, and may your key shop JD continue to prosper! I told JD that for Christmas everyone in my family will get a personalized key to my home. Of course they will be happy, I always have food!
