Several months ago, the key for my 2015 Ford F-150 broke off the fob. Initially, I attempted to use pliers to start the vehicle, but after two months, the key was severely damaged, and starting the vehicle became impossible. The dealership quoted nearly $400 per key, requiring an in-person visit. I searched online and found Lone Star Locksmith Services with excellent ratings. I contacted them, and Jacob promptly came to my residence, providing an outstanding service. I now have two new keys and fobs, including a valet key, all completed at my home. I am very grateful for the quick service, competitive pricing, and the convenience of on-site service. Thank you!

I’ll be honest I’ve never received a service from this “establishment” but I do know that the owner “Tim Vickers” thinks there’s a joke in the very unsettling recent news of Renee Good being murder (shot by ice three times in the face). This is absolutely not political that women was murdered in cold blood. Do not support an establishment where the owner thinks it’s cool to make fun of victims murdered by people he only supports because of his political beliefs. The point is no matter where you stand politically or even if you agree with the disgusting murder posting about it online to make fun of her is absolutely disgusting and sick. Also not to mention I called his work to report him for that awful comment he answered the phone and was rude before he even knew who I was or what I was calling about. Awful awful man

Edit: they sent someone out to fix my fob!
I hate leaving bad reviews but after trying to reach them numerous times and no one ever calling us back (although I was promised a call back “in a few minutes”), I have too. They did a great job re-fobing my car but a month and a half later, the fob is no longer working. We have tried calling to find out next steps, but cannot reach anyone to help us. This was an expensive re-fob and just need help with next steps. So great service, but if you need help afterward, good luck.

We run a plumbing company in Dallas called Workman Plumbing and needed extra keys made for several of our RAM service vans. We had tried a couple of other locksmiths before and honestly had a bad experience. We were sold generic keys but charged as if they were original RAM keys, and they didn’t last. The locks would unlock and then immediately lock again. Just frustrating all around.

We ended up finding David with Lockstar Locksmith after seeing his reviews, and I’m really glad we did. He met us all at one location since we had multiple vans, showed up exactly when he said he would, and took care of everything efficiently.

The keys he made for us are high quality, true dealership style keys. They feel just like the originals from when we first got the vans. Big difference compared to what we had before.
He charged exactly what he quoted, no surprises, and was professional and knowledgeable the entire time. On top of that, his service van was spotless and extremely well organized, which we always notice and respect as a service company ourselves.

David is just a genuinely nice guy who clearly takes pride in his work. We really appreciate the help and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. Five stars
