Nice people but complete waste of money. Needed keys made quick, pulled up and confirmation that key could be made was fast. Paid $60 for 2 keys, dropped them off, and I wake up to calls that neither key works at 6AM. Maybe I came on the wrong day but the guy was really nice at least. Might go better with a different key type

Axel was great, we shopped around for prices and he beat everyone’s price. Also, his service was very fast. Just had this company out to my house as I was locked out. The man told me the lock could not be picked (it was a regular deadbolt) and he would have to drill through it. Did not tell me a price during this process.

He ruined the lock and handle to the door and eventually got the door opened. Then proceeded to tell me his 20 minute service was $790.

$485 just to get the door opened. Then another $150 service charge and more charges and taxes.

I asked for a receipt to be sent to me and have called and asked numerous times since and still have not gotten the receipt.

$790 is robbery and I am disturbed and expect this to be fixed immediately.

I am now left with $790 missing and now have to go buy a new deadbolt and handle for my door. Absolutely would NOT recommend.

I was quite disappointed with my visit. Upon entering, I was assisted by Brandon with not even a simple hello. I explained that I had called and had spoken with someone that stated my bag could be unlocked and re-keyed for $35 with additional keys for $3 each. He Literally said Nothing, but took the bag, unlocked it and handed it back to me. I thanked him and asked about getting it keyed, he replied ‘put your stuff in the bag’, I got ready to do that and asked how long would it possibly take? He shrugged his shoulder and replied, I don’t know, it could be 30 minutes or two hours, you have to leave it. He was so CURT, the bearded co-worker next to him stood up and looked around at him and me. Feeling ABSOLUTELY STUPID for asking, I asked what was the cost to pay so that I could leave. Brandon, I would hope today was just an off day for you. First and last impressions are like scars, they NEVER FADE. Shame on you.

Seems like she’s never had a customer service oriented job in her life. The tech who originally was supposed to help my code a remote key couldn’t do it because of his “software” or “updates”. Rude and expensive. Doesn’t cut keys in Baytown location. Wants you to drive to Pasadena.

I already drove here to this location that indicates that key duplicating is a service on the listing.

Wanted $50 to merely cut a key I was bringing. I told him he’s just cutting a key, like they do at Home Depot.

He facetiously asked if home Depot would cut it. As he knows they typically will not (cut your brought in key).

Then dropped the price to $20.

I ended up getting it cut for free on a Hillman keyhero. If you have ever seen this machine, it basically cuts the key for you, it is so easy a Home depot employee can do it for free in seconds (literally). Blanks are $5. This is not to minimize the Home Depot employee. It’s to minimize the skill necessary to cut a key. Small things like this lead to additional business. Basic principal.

Not sure what I would have been paying $50.

My office door locked and we couldn’t find the key anywhere. I called Biggs Safe & Lock and they had Adrian on the way immediately. From the initial phone call to him arriving on-site and getting my door open, the whole process took under an hour!

Adrian was professional, fast, and super friendly. He made a stressful situation so easy. Biggs Safe & Lock has truly outstanding employees, and Adrian deserves a special shoutout for his great work.

I highly recommend them for any lock issues!

Do not use this company unless you want to be charged 3 times for one job. I was charged $172 after they failed to reprogram my existing key Fob and when I asked for anew key which is what they came out to do they wanted to charge me another 172 for a new key. After I asked to speak to management they just kept hanging up and yelling at me without resolving the issue. Unprofessional company. Don’t even call this company. I have no clue how they have 5 stars they deserve 0.

It was very convenient having a key kiosk at the grocery store. The only thing I don’t know is if it’s a good price or you’re paying for the convenience because I haven’t had a key made in a long time. I’m not sure keys are supposed to cost $10 a piece and specialty keys $11 or that’s just because you’re in the grocery store and it’s convenient. Very cool experience though have your keys made right there I liked it. Last time I had keys made they were like $2 so I’m going to check and see if that’s still the same price or they actually just went up to 10 and 11 dollars a piece

I recently needed a replacement key for my car after losing my spare. I contacted Advent Key and Lock, and they came out to my home the very next day. They programmed the fob and made me a key on the spot.

Originally, I purchased a fob from Amazon (which I do not recommend), and unfortunately, that fob stopped working shortly after. I reached out to Advent Key and Lock again, and they worked with me to find a solution. I had already paid $195 for the first service, which was still much cheaper than the dealership. I did pay a bit more for a new fob that they supplied, but it was worth it because it came with a 60-day warranty.

We met in San Marcos (which worked out perfectly since we were traveling), and they quickly programmed their fob for me. In hindsight, I should have just bought their fob from the beginning for $220 plus $35 to cut the key—it would have saved me time and trouble.

I highly recommend Advent Key and Lock for any key or lock issues. Their pricing is fair, service is quick, and their customer service is excellent. If I ever have another issue with my car keys, I won’t hesitate to call them again. Jeremiah helped me with this process!
