My son’s car has been sitting for weeks because we lost his key. Tejas Lock and Key answered their FB messages very quickly. After we set up a time and day, they got the job done so fast. We got two keys for the ignition made and they made one for the door as well. They are located in Vernon, but came to Childress to do several jobs in one day. It’s good to know they can be mobile and get to you anywhere in the area. Good communication and professional guys! We are so happy to have use of the car again!! I am so happy with their service and would recommend them to anyone!

Can’t recommend Neil and Lock Boss Locksmith enough! I needed a smart lock installed and Neil was great at pre-appointment communication to ensure that everything was ready and would go smoothly on the day of the appointment. During the appointment, he was very efficient but made sure to also walk me through everything that he was doing. Once the lock was installed, he stayed to ensure that it was set up correctly on the app and also made sure that I tested it out fully. While he was here, he also ended up rekeyed some locks on a couple of doors.

Neil’s honesty, helpfulness, friendliness and willingness to make sure that everything was done quickly but properly are the reasons that I will not hesitate to reach out to him in the future for all things lock-related!

Hard to get a hold of. I was recommended to them twice for two different events. I called and left a voicemail both times and never received a call back. Disappointing.

Updated: 08/21/2025 – Neil has just finished programming two key fobs for my 2018 Mazda CX-9 and reset the car key storage entries that were causing an error message on the dashboard display, which I thought would require a Mazda dealer to perform.

Neil is very professional, knowledgeable, personable, and skilled at his job. I would highly recommend his services. His prices are fair for the quality service he provides. Unlike the vast majority of service providers I’ve dealt with, he provides very high-quality service proficiently.

Glen came to me (a little over an hour away) and made a motorcycle key for me that every other locksmith told me was basically impossible. Very friendly and knowledgeable guy. Highly recommend!

So I had 2 keys made, by humans that worked but not that great and then I needed another key so I went to the do it yourself machine…..well it made the best key. Works as good as the original. Will be using again if I have a need.
