I got locked out of my car in early November when I was out running errands and my key stopped working. I called Nassau’s Best to use their services around 7pm in the middle of the week. I received a call from dispatch in just 5 minutes telling me somebody is on their way. A man came around 7:45pm, I believe his name was Giorgio or Giorgis. The process of creating and programming did take a little bit longer than I expected (about 2 hours) but I was just so grateful I was able to get my key replaced, get into my car, and start it, that it was worth it in the end, especially because the new key works flawlessly.

My previous key was made by a different local locksmith, and it was a terrible copy, a poorly functioning key since I received it a year ago after the original car key broke from the housing. The new key that Nassau’s Best made works like the original in the two months that I’ve had it. I was also given a plain key with no fob/buttons as a backup, which is quite useful to have. If I recall correctly, total cost was around $190 to create a new key (from the ignition, I believe) and program it.

I must add that I was alone when I got locked out of my car, and as a woman, I never once felt unsafe around the man working on my key/car. He was very polite and diligent. He did an excellent job, and I’d highly recommend Nassau’s Best.

I just called them asking if they could key a lock for my trailer and they said yes it was going to be $20 for the tech to come out and $100 for the key. I said that’s fine. She ask my address, I told her and she said we don’t have a technician in the area and hung up. She also did not speak well english.
