I’ve been dealing with bad key fobs for my Mazda 6 for over a year. The dealership wanted something ridiculous.

Locksmith Premier showed up and solved my problem.
We did have to follow up for a lock issue. He arrived, said it would take 5 minutes. 3 minutes later he was done.

David responds well to texts/calls, came in just 2 hours to fix my lock issue. He charged me just $59 since it was a quick job (everyone else was quoting $95), also fixed a second lock with the same issue at no cost, within the same service call.

We called this company a month ago because our door wasn’t closing properly. The technician, Rafael, initially fixed it by installing a thicker bolt. However, the same issue reoccurred a few weeks later. Rafael came back out to adjust it and informed us that we actually needed a specific, proper lock for our door, which he said he would look for. It has now been two weeks of waiting. We followed up with Rafael directly but received no response. We then called the main office, and they promised he would call us back, but we still haven’t heard anything. Very disappointed with the lack of communication and follow-through after the initial service.

Update June, 2026

I called the office and David followed up with me responsibly. Even though I fixed the lock myself and didn’t need a technician to come out, I will definitely reach out to him next time if I need anything.

It was my first time using their kiosk. I need two keys and it took five minutes. Only suggestion is it would be better if someone who is making two copies of the same key can do both keys at once verse having to treat it as two separate transactions.

I felt like this was a scam. I called about a deadbolt and was told that they would charge $29 to come out and then whatever the cost was for the deadbolt replacement and rekey. When they got there they wanted $650.00!!! I was shocked and they then asked me what I expected to pay. They then tried to sell me on other locks that they claimed weren’t as good as what was going to be put in. After some back and forth I said no thank you, let me just pay you the $29 and you can leave. I then paid via Zelle directly to the person tha came out (Parin) instead of getting an invoice, which I found odd, and never received a receipt even after I called asking for a receipt.

Don’t waste your time with this place. I called Big D Key LLC. Paid $108 and they also came right away. Very nice to deal with too.

Called Best Locksmith yesterday and they were able to get someone out that same afternoon. The service was really great from start to finish. Ian handled the re-keying at my house and he was so friendly, professional, and easy to talk to. He talked me through what actually needed to be done, explained everything clearly, and made solid recommendations without being pushy or “salesmen like”. He also called about 30 minutes before arriving, showed up right on time, and had everything finished in about an hour and a half. 100% recommend them to anyone needing a locksmith in the Frisco area.

They were Mobile and came to me. I needed a key fob programmed to my grand daughter’s car. Tech (Parris) was quick, efficient, polite and knowledgeable. As I purchased an after market fob…it refused programming (argh!). But Parris, recommended purchasing a fob from them. I did and viola…fob works (yay!)! Spending $221 for fob and programming beats dealer pricing any day.
(Sent my “reject fob” back and getting a refund)
