I rarely leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others. I called this company after locking myself out and was given an estimated arrival window — they showed up 90 minutes late. When the technician looked at my lock, he made no attempt to pick it before declaring it needed to be drilled. Fifteen minutes later, my original lock was destroyed and replaced with a cheap, standard one.
Then came the bill: $1,000. When I pushed back and asked the owner to justify the price (pointing out that the job took 15 minutes and the technician never even attempted a non-destructive entry) he dropped it to $629. The fact that the price fell that easily tells you everything about the original quote.
I paid over $600 to get into my own home, and walked away with a worse lock than I started with. A brand-new back door would have cost me less. Please do your research before calling anyone in a lockout emergency. This company definitely exploited the situation.
