I needed a doorknob replaced for my front door and these guys took great care of me. I called late in the day and they sent someone over within the hour. Tony was professional and pleasant. I had difficulty finding a locksmith who would come to my location for an old locked safe. I called Texas Safe & Lock and spoke with Mickynzie. She was very polite and worked to be able to have someone respond on the only day that could work for me. Mathew traveled a bit to meet with me today. He was very respectable, personable, and knowledgeable. He communicated everything he was doing and even went beyond and explained some things about the process and mechanics, as it was very interesting to me and the skill it clearly takes. He got into the safe, updated it with a convenient keypad, and cleaned up his work area when done. He explained in detail how the new keypad worked and ensured I had it down. I got access to some very sentimental items. I believe good companies who have good employees deserve my business. It may not be real convenient, because of my location, but I may be driving to Plano to get a key made! Keep up the great work. Six stars!

Thank you so much to Zane for helping me with my car keys. I had a key that wasnt very good and only got me into my car after lots of manipulation. Zane came in and cut a new car key for me that worked 100% all round. Now my keys not only unlocks my car easily, but the keyless remote works great too. Also, my new keys has the Mitsubishi logo on it, so i get its like legit, LEGIT! YAY!!

Highly recommend! I have been trying to find a good and reputable locksmith for months that would be able cut and program a key to my vehicle. For months I have been left with no one returning calls or getting a TON of spam calls back to back. When I was about ready to give up and just go to the dealership, I found GLC. Not only did they answer my call, they were also able to put me in contact with a tech that was literally less than 5 minutes from my house. Once I arrived, the tech was quick and efficient and very polite. He had my key cut in no time and I was on my way. Much more affordable than the others I have spoke with in the past and definitely more affordable than the dealership! Very professional service. If you need a locksmith, I would give GLC a call.

❌ Sure Lock & Key / Sure Lock and Key (DBA SLK Global AKA The Right Choice Locksmith)

What was supposed to be a simple key fob service turned into a nightmare.

A technician dispatched by Sure Lock & Key did not have the proper equipment and, without my consent, removed the ignition from my vehicle, leaving the car inoperable and causing over $3,000 in damage. The technician took the ignition with him, forcing me to wait several days and giving only a limited window to retrieve my personal property. Because the vehicle was disabled, I had to hire a driver to recover my belongings and later hire a tow truck just to take the car to a repair shop for a damage estimate.

Since then, management has ignored all calls and emails and has taken no responsibility.

While trying to resolve this, I noticed additional transparency concerns. My invoice lists Sure Lock & Key with DBA SLK Global, which appears to be connected to other business names including, but not limited to, The Right Choice Locksmith and A1 Doors. I also observed that multiple business names appear to share the same phone numbers, addresses, and individuals. Additionally, the company advertises many service locations throughout Collin County, yet does not clearly list physical business addresses, which is concerning.

Consumers BEWARE: Please do your due diligence before hiring. Review the Better Business Bureau and other consumer review sites, verify business details, and look beyond advertising.

I was excited about the nice and new key machine at Sam’s club. It was easy to use and very convenient. I made three copies of one key. I would definitely give a five-star rating if the key would have worked seamlessly in the lock. I have to do a lot of wiggling with these three copies in order to lock or unlock the door. The original key works smoothly every time. I feel like the rating of one star is most appropriate because ultimately, the key copies needs to work as it should.
