If I could give a negative star rating I would! ⭐️ I rarely leave reviews, but this place definitely deserves one. I brought in a Kwikset combo set with the SmartKey feature, which is designed to be re-keyed in seconds. I thought it would be cheaper and easier to handle it in the shop instead of a service call.

From the start, there was no explanation, no greeting, and zero customer service. They quickly quoted me $20 per lock, and the entire re-keying took about 10 seconds. Despite that, they charged me over $43 plus tax. For context, the entire combo set on Amazon, which included two deadbolts and two entry knobs, cost me just $24 total.

And to top it off, for that outrageous price, I didn’t even get an extra set of keys! They took full advantage by not explaining anything and charging a ridiculous fee for a simple task. I won’t be back, and I strongly advise you to think twice before going here.

I had gone to different places to get my key and fob replaced and programmed. I came here and he was so nice and fixed it. Took a couple of minutes but it was all worth it. Highly recommend this place.

I went to get a copy of my keys for my car so I could use it. He made the copy but the key was not working. I told him and he said that the key has to be programmed and that I didn’t told him since the beginning. So he told me that I needed to buy a new key for $120 but he was going to give me discount because he made the copy that is not working. So I told him to wait that I let him know. I think he did it to steal my money. If you go to these please be careful with this guy he likes to steal money

Waited over 2 hours this morning on a different locksmith who had been scheduled to come since the yesterday. He cancelled on me and left me stranded. Got this locksmiths info and they arrived 40 minutes after I called, super prompt. And finished the job very quickly! Would recommend again.

I had priced a replacement key fob for my car at the dealership for 500$ a couple of years ago. In the meantime I was hoping to find someone local to help me whom I could trust. I recently ran across this listing hoping to fix one of my key fobs that had stopped working after I changed the battery. Since it was close to where I live, I went over to see if my key was able to be fixed. Thomas looked at my key fob, made an adjustment, and got it to work! Since he used one of their batteries he only charged me 5$ for that. I couldn’t believe how cordial, honest, and efficient the service is at this historic, multi-generational local El Paso family business. I cannot express how grateful I was to find El Paso Key Fitting, as a single female who is not overly technical. It means everything to find expertise you can trust. THANKS SO MUCH!
