Well they didn’t have anyone in my area. So I ended up breaking passenger side window out so I could retrieve my keys. Couldn’t get any locksmith to answer their phone or call me back. I now have roadside assistance, but I’m still missing a window and won’t be able to replace it till spring. My fault for locking keys inside…

❌ Sure Lock & Key / Sure Lock and Key (DBA SLK Global AKA The Right Choice Locksmith)

What was supposed to be a simple key fob service turned into a nightmare.

A technician dispatched by Sure Lock & Key did not have the proper equipment and, without my consent, removed the ignition from my vehicle, leaving the car inoperable and causing over $3,000 in damage. The technician took the ignition with him, forcing me to wait several days and giving only a limited window to retrieve my personal property. Because the vehicle was disabled, I had to hire a driver to recover my belongings and later hire a tow truck just to take the car to a repair shop for a damage estimate.

Since then, management has ignored all calls and emails and has taken no responsibility.

While trying to resolve this, I noticed additional transparency concerns. My invoice lists Sure Lock & Key with DBA SLK Global, which appears to be connected to other business names including, but not limited to, The Right Choice Locksmith and A1 Doors. I also observed that multiple business names appear to share the same phone numbers, addresses, and individuals. Additionally, the company advertises many service locations throughout Collin County, yet does not clearly list physical business addresses, which is concerning.

Consumers BEWARE: Please do your due diligence before hiring. Review the Better Business Bureau and other consumer review sites, verify business details, and look beyond advertising.

Thank you so much to Zane for helping me with my car keys. I had a key that wasnt very good and only got me into my car after lots of manipulation. Zane came in and cut a new car key for me that worked 100% all round. Now my keys not only unlocks my car easily, but the keyless remote works great too. Also, my new keys has the Mitsubishi logo on it, so i get its like legit, LEGIT! YAY!!

The key kiosk is convenient, but the price of the keys is high and there should be an option to ask if you’d like to make another key.

Need keys fast on the acton side of town, so being in Kroger was convenient! However $7 a key plus .99 surcharge is so overpriced that I will drive 4 more miles in the future
