I want to thank Armstrong Locksmith Inc. for making my day better after my key fob got damaged somehow. They are very skilled and precise in their work. I had two new key fobs made for my 2013 Honda Civic at a much lower cost than at Ace Hardware and other locksmiths. From now on, they will be my first choice for key services. I lost the key to my 2015 Nissan Quest and I called and the technician came out and programmed a new key for me within 30 minutes! Total cost was $185 which was over half the price the dealership quoted me! All in all great and very reasonably priced! Will be using ABC for all my lock and key needs in the future.

A button was stuck and didn’t work on my car fob. They fixed it super fast. Before A-1, I had called another place and was quoted $300+ to replace the fob as the only option. A-1 charge me 1/10 that. I was so relieved!

I was locked out of my truck at the Gaylord hotel at Opryland Nashville. They arrived very fast, and this place isn’t easy to find your way around. He found us. Was very fast, friendly and courteous. I needed a receipt and the associate sent it and called me to assure that I received it! Very good company! Very good associate as well! I think his name was Grady but he was super helpful! The lock on the front door of my workplace failed at 10:30 last night and the building could not be secured. Justin arrived quickly and spent a couple hours in the frigid night air working on the damaged mechanism. He was able to get the lock working in spite of the damage. These key duplicator machines are very convenient, but don’t get a proper fit every time. I got my key done twice at Walmart, and neither even fit in the key hole. I then went to staples and got 2 keys made. One key barely works, and the other doesn’t turn. I compared to the original key and it missed one notch. Perhaps I didn’t put the key in right?

I called this company after being recommended to them by a realtor here in town. I had a very simple job. Replace a broken door handle on my rental property.

When I called in, the girl at the front desk was nice, but kept asking for pictures of the handle from all four angles. I told her that wouldn’t be possible as it was a rental property, and all I had was the one photo. She proceeded to set my appointment time.

I took off work and went to the property to meet them. After sitting for 30 minutes past my appointment time, I called the office line asking for an ETA. The man that answered the phone said I didn’t have an appointment. I referenced the email where the appointment was confirmed, he checked, and then said he could get there in an hour.

I had to go back to work so I left, and he came to fix.

They charged over $300 to replace a handle. No lock. No new key. Literally a new handle.

I got one email about an invoice, and it got lost in the shuffle. And then 3 weeks later they start calling from 3 different phone numbers. They would call, it would go to voicemail (as I was working and can’t answer calls at work), they would leave a voicemail, then they would immediately call again. I missed a total of 15 calls from these people over a 2 hour period. You would think I had absconded with thousands of their dollars.

I handled the invoice immediately.

But I would not recommend these guys. They said the reason they didn’t have me in their system for an appointment was because “they are so busy.”

Just overall terrible customer service, and not a good way to keep clients by calling from all different numbers instead of sending a professional email with a reminder for payment. Three weeks for an invoice is hardly something to fuss over.

The technician I had was good and fast. I guess I’ll give them some credit for actually fixing the problem and getting to me quickly. But I won’t be calling again with the random pricing. The original line I called I asked for a rough estimate total and he said 100-150, but the service ended up costing a lot more than that with nothing extra being done. There needs to be better communication between the dispatchers and the service members.

First of all they were able to come out the same day. The technician was professional, fast, and knowledgeable. The picr was great also. I needed a transponder key made for my vehicle. This was a lot less painful than going to the dealership. I got y’all locked in my phone.
