I do not recommend using KeyMe as a locksmithing service. I called the number on their website when I couldn’t find information for any other locksmiths in Athens. But rather than sending out a skilled locksmith, they sent out a third-party technician who destructively forced my door open with screwdrivers. The charge for this was $200. Additionally, there was a language barrier, so he didn’t appear to understand my complaint with what he had done.

Beyond impressed with Isaac and his ability and willingness to help. Due to wrong fobs I purchased only he unfortunately had to come out twice only to find those would not program. At that point I told him to just order one so we know its correct! And of course third time was a charm. Got it up and running in 15 minutes. Tested and working as it should.

Also the only person I could find in Athens to program a 2023 fob for my model car as other didn’t have the software to do so.

Absolutely will not ever use this locksmith service again. On the website it says you will have the final price before the locksmith is ever dispatched and that did not happen. He said worst case scenario would be $239. Well to extract my key from my car door took a simple pair of pliers and about 10 minutes nothing special was utilized in this process. I went to pay him and he rattled off a few different numbers and so I asked for a clear price and he charged me $239. For using a simple pair of pliers and 10 minutes to pry my key out which I could have done myself had I known I wouldn’t break my key. I called and filed a complaint with the company as the website says 100% satisfaction or money back guarantee. That doesn’t get honored either. The woman I spoke with made an excuse for everything. Tried to tell me that I had agreed to pay $239 over the phone which I did not. If they really had all the calls recorded as she claims she’d have heard the tech being very vague and not giving me a price as the website states. I’m sorry using simple pliers and 10 minutes does not warrant “worst case scenario” in my book. Way over pricing and they do not honor their guarantees on their website. Beyond unhappy with this company. Do not recommend. You will get the run around if you have any issues.
