I had an absolute y fantastic experience with Empire! First off, I LOVE that this is a family owned business. My technician, Justin, was so sweet and professional the entire time. I had to get multiple locks rekeyed, and he installed an electronic lock opener I had bought. It was so much quicker than expected and the cost was absolutely reasonable. If I ever need their service again, this is who I’ll be calling

I called at 8:30pm on a Tuesday asking for the locksmith location (an unreasonable thing to ask at that time, admittedly). The cell owner who responded said he was Pop A Locks but that he was closed, and we had a brief exchange about hours before he hung up on me. I’m not sure we ever got to my need for a lock change after I drove to this location for. Maybe under new Management?

It’s great to have actual keys copied by trained/experienced person(s) with a local business/storefront (and have those keys work great.)

I attempted the use of now copious amounts of key copy kiosks and failed to get one working key out of 3 attempts. I drove far out the way to Baldino’s and within 1 minute had 2 perfect copies , a pleasant conversation and a few ideas for future entry systems.

Support small businesses and talk with fellow humans. I’m sure one day robots and AI will take over everything but it’s not that time yet 🤣
