I called Mr. Speedy exceptional service as usual..I was locked out if my car and my key fob needed to be replaced. Response time was amazing and once here took no time at all to program new fob!!! Also gave me hints on using the old fob as a back up! Way cheaper than the dealership! I 100% would recommend 😁

Sue walked us through the whole process and made it fun, a seriously tough thing to do when you are upset about losing your only key. She took all of the information for the key code in advance so they could get me fixed up quickly. We knew right off the bat that we were dealing with true professionals – Sue gave us a ton of information even when she wasn’t sure we would use their services. I was surprised how affordable it was for such excellent service. Don’t lose your only key! But if you do, head over to Gene’s. Great place, great people.

My son and I were shopping in Rapid from out of town, and I locked our keys in the car. After making several calls, and being quoted a price of $260, Harvey’s was recommended by the police department. It was 26 minutes from the time I called until the technician came out and unlocked our car. Very quick and great service, and a great price, nowhere near the $260 quoted by another service. Very highly recommend this company!

The machine was easy to use. Others I tried couldn’t duplicate my ancient house key, but this one did, and both exemplars work perfectly. The price was reasonable too. Very happy.

Honestly when I first used it the machine, I didn’t think it was going to work, because I don’t trust computer operated machines, but to my surprise all my keys worked, it was fast and I even got a free key out of it. However the offset was a higher charge though. Getting keys done the old fashion way is quite a bit cheaper.

Locked my keys in car, gave him a call. Was nothing but helpful and kind and courteous. Gave me a tip on how to open up my door and vola open.
If he needed to come out it wouldn’t have been that expensive either. Nothing but praise from me.

I was in a bit of a pickle recently, and Fred’s was the FIFTH locksmith I called and the FIRST to answer. The guy was up-front about how long it’d before he arrived (about half-hour). It took only a few minutes after his arrival before I could run in and fetch my keys. He even let me warm up in the van while he worked. And I made it to work on time! Cost was very reasonable too. I do plan to stop by the store and discuss some options to prevent a repeat. 🙂

I tried twice to make three duplicates of a brand new Kwikset home key. Tried the new spiffy smooth key option. None of the three copies worked. I thought it might be because the locks were Kwikset’s Sentry system and may not be compatible with the smooth keys so I tried again. Three more worthless keys. I held them next to the original and they were obviously different. I will never use your machines again and will go back to the old method of getting keys duplicated. I will tell all of my friends to do the sane. I also never received a receipt for my two purchases. What a joke!

Last time I was in there I believe a key was 3.99 or 349 a few weeks ago and now they’re up to 11.99. I have Rentals here in Pierre and I think that is a little outrageous for the price of a key. Mostly for how much you guys raised it I could see a buck or two but seven dollars. More outrageous.

Overall easy and flawless experience – I purchased 6 copies of 2 different keys – of the six cuts just one was a little off… it works but sticks- the rest are smooth and just like the original. I think I could probably go exchange the one but I had gotten extra because it seems to almost always happen when cutting keys, that one is just a little off. Overall I give five stars for ease and how smooth most the keys are!

The kiosk is easy to use, point of pay and works well. The keys are decent quality-not as good as other places I have used, but OK. And the only complaint which really isn’t one-the kiosk process is pretty slow-probably 10 mins to make 3 keys.

It took so long for this key to work and then in order for the key to be perfect and work for your lock. Perfect you have to pay an extra five Dollars way worse than the older machine the first five times I use my key. It wouldn’t work so I had to keep ramming it in there and out in and out in and out almost breaking the key to get it to finally shape to work.! I would not recommend this machine to anyone if you could get it done at Menards( Which I found out is way cheaper by seven dollars!!) Or one of your local locksmith or Walgreens. The keypad is hidden at the bottom of the screen and super small with no way to enlarge it and the machine is brand new and the touchscreen doesn’t work. It has a delay. Absolutely horrible machine do not use this machine unless you have to and it’s your only option but be prepared for it to take long be inconvenient and the keys is not gonna work right at first! I wasn’t gonna leave a review but then they sent me three emails asking me too so here. I am leaving my review. People don’t use this machine.!
