I started my semi went inside the shop while it warmed up came back outside and realized I locked the keys inside the running truck. I called these guys and the guy came over In less than 15 minutes unlocked my semi in about two minutes and he took off. Super nice gave me a very fair price. I would highly recommend great experience.

Worked with Corey. Collectively we turned this unpleasant circumstance into one of the most fun laughter filled encounters that I have ever had. He was able to fit me in to his schedule for a same day key. He was able to take care if it while i was out running an errand and we did payment over the phone. Super fun, super fast, and an excellent display of buisness. I now have him saved in my speed dial. I run a gutter company and have a fleet of several vehicles. The number of times we get locked out or lose keys is embarrassing, but now I don’t feel so bad. My next step is to check and see if he offers a punch card frequent smithing loyalty program. 😆 🤣.

Locked my keys in car, gave him a call. Was nothing but helpful and kind and courteous. Gave me a tip on how to open up my door and vola open.
If he needed to come out it wouldn’t have been that expensive either. Nothing but praise from me.

Sue walked us through the whole process and made it fun, a seriously tough thing to do when you are upset about losing your only key. She took all of the information for the key code in advance so they could get me fixed up quickly. We knew right off the bat that we were dealing with true professionals – Sue gave us a ton of information even when she wasn’t sure we would use their services. I was surprised how affordable it was for such excellent service. Don’t lose your only key! But if you do, head over to Gene’s. Great place, great people.

Absolutely WONDERFUL service! I was traveling on my motorcycle from Blunt, SD to Canton, SD, and stopped at a gas station in Harold, about 30-35 miles from Pierre. My key is both ignition and gas cap key, and the dang thing snapped off in the gas cap! I’m from central MN, and was pretty alone. The guy from the gas station was a doll, and he managed to get the snapped piece out of the cap, but I still needed a key! So I called Security Lock and she walked me thru getting the information she needed, she cut me two keys, and she delivered them all the way to me! Less than 2 hours later I was back on the road.

I can’t say enough about her customer service either- so understanding and helpful and KNOWLEDGEABLE!

P.S. The cost was very reasonable for all she did, and driving out to hand me the keys because I had no way to get to her business.

Service was fantastic, quick and easy. Needed 2 new key fobs for my truck. Called on Thursday to get a quote, they ordered the keys and had them on Monday. I stoped in today (Wednesday) they had everything finished up for both fobs in about 15 minutes. I highly recommend and will be returning for any future needs!

Yeah, Chad was phenomenal we spoke on the phone he came out and he helped me get my Harley gas cap open in like one minute. He’s extremely professional it’s a no-brainer to recommend him to anybody who has a need for the services. Top notch don’t go anywhere else.

I was in a bit of a pickle recently, and Fred’s was the FIFTH locksmith I called and the FIRST to answer. The guy was up-front about how long it’d before he arrived (about half-hour). It took only a few minutes after his arrival before I could run in and fetch my keys. He even let me warm up in the van while he worked. And I made it to work on time! Cost was very reasonable too. I do plan to stop by the store and discuss some options to prevent a repeat. 🙂

Honestly when I first used it the machine, I didn’t think it was going to work, because I don’t trust computer operated machines, but to my surprise all my keys worked, it was fast and I even got a free key out of it. However the offset was a higher charge though. Getting keys done the old fashion way is quite a bit cheaper.

Last time I was in there I believe a key was 3.99 or 349 a few weeks ago and now they’re up to 11.99. I have Rentals here in Pierre and I think that is a little outrageous for the price of a key. Mostly for how much you guys raised it I could see a buck or two but seven dollars. More outrageous.

It took so long for this key to work and then in order for the key to be perfect and work for your lock. Perfect you have to pay an extra five Dollars way worse than the older machine the first five times I use my key. It wouldn’t work so I had to keep ramming it in there and out in and out in and out almost breaking the key to get it to finally shape to work.! I would not recommend this machine to anyone if you could get it done at Menards( Which I found out is way cheaper by seven dollars!!) Or one of your local locksmith or Walgreens. The keypad is hidden at the bottom of the screen and super small with no way to enlarge it and the machine is brand new and the touchscreen doesn’t work. It has a delay. Absolutely horrible machine do not use this machine unless you have to and it’s your only option but be prepared for it to take long be inconvenient and the keys is not gonna work right at first! I wasn’t gonna leave a review but then they sent me three emails asking me too so here. I am leaving my review. People don’t use this machine.!
