I’ve used Amerikeys on 281 to make a replacement door key for my truck. It wasn’t a programmed key, but I know they also handle programmable keys with chips — I plan to go back for that soon. The staff was friendly, professional, and did a great job. Their prices are more affordable than the dealerships, and the overall experience was excellent.

The key man is as dedicated as they come. I will tell you there are very few people left in this world who do business and actually care about a job well done like Idan. My key stopped working after I left it in my pants and sent it through the washer machine. My car was stranded in a parking lot for two days due to an issue with the ignition system. Idan came out two days in a row and diagnosed and fixed the problem promptly. Now I have two working fobs with newly cut emergency keys that I vow never to wash again. I would recommend this guy 100x over any other locksmith. Good man. Good work.

Lost the keys for a 2006 Kia Spectra and it sat on my driveway for months. Finally got some extra cash and gave Pronto a call. They had a tech at my house within an hour. Once he arrived, I had a brand new set of keys within 15 minutes. The whole process was very easy and convenient, but I did not like the price. $330 for a car that old with a basic key is outrageous! My fault for not shopping around, but I doubt they’d offer a quote beforehand, wouldn’t be good for business I imagine.

I’m very grateful for this company. I had recently purchased a 1964 dodge polara. The vehicle had no keys. They were able to get a key to work for me. Once again, I had a great experience with River City Lock and Key. They’re the only company I’ve used at my home, which means I’ve been a customer for over 25 years. Today, my back door wouldn’t open and I wanted an additional deadbolt (with a door handle replacement). As usual, they were punctual, polite, quick and reasonably priced. The back door was not such an easy fix, but everything works well now, and I couldn’t be happier.
