Mayweather Key Solutions was a life saver today. Needed a part to my key fob. (Long story) But bottom line I called and they had the part. Met them in Anasco. Purchased the part and I had a new key/fob made, so now I have 2 keys to my Kia. Knowledgeable, helpful and all done in one morning. 12/31/25

Went here to ask about straightening a bent car key. They told me that they would not do it because of the risk of breaking it. I ask for a replacement and said they needed the car for a replacement, but they added that I should also restore the ignition because from their experience that it has also been damaged. This alerted me to their true intentions, as I did not say I put the key in the ignition and tried to turn it to start the car. They also wanted to charge me for traveling four (4) streets from the store to my house to remove the ignition from the car an additional $100. In summary, for the key plus labor plus travel $350 approximately.

Meanwhile, at On Points Lock in Ponce, $30 for a replacement key that started the car with no issues LMFAO.

Stay away from these thieves!

Update:

It seems that the owner took the “you didn’t understand” route.

Let me be clear for you again. You offered me something and wanted to do it your way.

It has been a month, and the car is still functioning without issues, and what you did not want to do was offered to me at another store with a significantly lower price.

Those are the facts; you may be good at what you do, but you did not have the customer’s best interest. You wanted to charge a premium for something that cost me $30 at another store.

Take accountability and do better next time.
