Valley Lock and Door are fantastic. The estimate and price was great, the timeline quoted was 7-9 weeks, and the door was ordered and installed in just 5 weeks, in freezing cold weather no less!

The installation was flawless, from start to finish, the door was removed, all new track and spring was installed as well as the brand new door within 2 hours. The installer was neat and orderly, cleaned up and took everything away.

Another big point, probably the biggest for me personally, the estimate included a promotion from the manufacturer that discounted the highest rated insulated door down to the equivalent price of the lowest rated insulated door. Valley Lock and Door were honest and upfront about that and passed that saving on to me. Another door company outside of our area who uses the same supplier did NOT disclose that savings and quoted me almost $300 more for the same door as Valley Lock and Door!

Phenomenal local small business and they exemplify the integrity and excellence of the Upper Perk Valley!

Alittle rough on edges but works ok. I do worry about the roughness as I don’t want any fragments getting stuck in my lock they should have something there that you can insert the key a couple times to smooth out the roughness

The team at Mike’s Lock Shop went above and beyond my expectations on a unique project. I needed a skeleton key cut for a vintage 4th generation family armoire after the original key had been lost years ago. Ben and his team had to source a brass or steel key with appropriate thickness and length before cutting it to the dimensions for the lock box. It proved to be a taxing process (several keys came in that had improper dimensions), but the team remained in frequent contact. The end product was a functional steel key (that I promise not to misplace). Would highly recommend!

I spent most of the day looking for a generator chord with a big snowstorm coming. I called this location and had it set aside, but there must’ve been a mix up and the chord was most likely sold as an online order. I explained the situation to the manager, Jayme. He was empathetic and searched the back. While he never found it, he did something else far beyond that. He gave me his personal chord, FOR FREE!!!. I don’t know if it was used at the store or if it was out of his own personal vehicle. He went ABOVE and BEYOND! Now if the power goes out due to this storm, my wife and kids will be safe and warm in our house. I can’t thank him enough!!! Great store, great employees, ONE OF A KIND HUMAN BEING AS A MANAGER.
