I locked my keys in my closet accidentally so I had no other choice but to call a locksmith. It was 4pm on a Sunday, I called Rich, he came right away and he drive about 50 minutes to get to me which was very much appreciated. It took him not even 5 minutes to unlock my door, amazing!! What’s the deal with this business ordered a replacement Fob for my Audi, over a week ago said it would arrive in 2 days, haven’t heard back and nobody answers calls or returns calls. Only way they respond is if you leave a bad review. So please stay away from these crazy people not sure they understand customer service or give a damn. Searching for a new place.

My father stopped in out of the blue with a lock that had no key, no tailpiece, and that needed an extra long set back (which is unusual). Ken had everything my father needed to get the lock working again! My father returned a second time with two more locks, and he was able to help him out again. Ken was reasonable, reliable, and overall great — if you have any lock issues please give Ken a call first.

How is this transaction $17.02? Can you itemize it, please? I selected a brass key for $5.99, then changed the quantity to 2 keys, which grade school math has taught me brings the running total to $11.98. The kiosk then offered me a free third key. Great! I said yes. I agreed to the offer and proceeded. The first ke that the kiosk spit out had a Steeler logo on it which I EMPHATICALLY DID NOT CHOOSE because it was $3 additional charge, and I am not a Steeler fan. I do not want said key on my keychain. The second and third keys which spit out were brass like I ordered. 6% Pennsylvania sales tax would bring the charge to just under $13, yet I as charged $17.02. Why? Was I charged some sort of fee for using a debit card? If so, why wasn’t I warned before payment? Also, I thought $5.99 per key was a bit steep, but I understood that I was paying extra for the convenience of not having to drive 20 minutes away to my favorite locally owned hardware store, which would have been substantially less expensive. Bu I still don’t understand why the total cost was $4 higher than expected, and why I am stuck with a Steeler logo key which I do not want. All 3 keys open the lock. That earned you the second star. However, one of the brass keys needs to be fidgeted with to get it to be withdrawn from the lock. Overall this has been an unsatisfactory experience, so much so that I needed to fill out this form in order to feel slightly better. I would not recommend using your key making kiosk.

Called at 10:04 this morning and Brian showed up at 11:30, squeezing me in after his first appointment- exceeded expectations! Very personable and friendly. Price was on par with the other company I called that referred me to Brian since I required a mobile locksmith. If I could add another star, I would. My fob stopped working and it was too expensive to go to the dealer. I ordered 2 new ones from Amazon and Dr Autolock arranged to meet me at a location that was convenient. Took less than10 minutes to program both new fobs and make a copy of the key at a fraction of the cost the dealer would have charged, GREAT SERVICE!!! Definitely will pass this info on to my friends!

Will never use this service to make keys again! The length of time it took to make 3 copies of 2 keys was extremely long 20 plus minutes, the keys come out all rough with sharp pieces of metal all along the entire top edge where it was cut, yes I could have paid an extra 2.99 for smooth edges which is even more outrageous especially being the key itself is 7.99. In the past keys were duplicated by a human costing 2 or 3 bucks a key, possibly 5 bucks if you wanted a printed key and I never once had sharp edges. Very disappointed and will be sure to share with friends and family not to waste their time and money thats for sure!
