Went in to get my car key copied, they repaired and made me a copy for a decent price, plus gave me a ton of useful information and material to make sure I get the most longevity out of my key and my car as well. Very sturdy reinforcement work, very friendly!

I called vans and had a major emergency which needed immediate attention. The woman answering the phone was very personable and said they would have someone out to our house within 15 minutes. Highly recommend.

Yay! I finally have WORKING spare keys for my old deadbolt! Keys are guaranteed to work and they worked! The spares don’t stick, no giggling or sweet talking required, the keys just worked as keys should.

I’ve tried Home Depot laser cutting and those spares didn’t work. I’ve tried WD-40. I’ve tried another local manual key cutting and those didn’t work either. My original key works great but I was down to my last key. Fox Chase Lock & Key worked and it was cheaper than the other places.

There’s street parking and a lot across from the shop, both use MeterUp/ParkMobile. I parked in the lot, it was $2.45 for the day (it went by days, $2/day, $0.45 processing fee). **Edit: my final receipt/cost for parking was $0.47 for the 17 minutes I was parked. **

I’m really not a fan of the location, especially with crossing that street. But I’m excited to find a locksmith that works for my old backwards house.

It was a very simple process of copying the key but I didn’t like the fact that the logo is spray painted on and easily comes off it already started to chip. I got the Eagles logo and I’m not thrilled that it’s going to disappear, just being handled, and it’s not going to show my support. Could have saved myself a few bucks.

They were very timely, responded in a business-like manner and where knowledgeable in their work. They spelled out all the ways to do my repair and made the cost very clear and very reasonable indeed. Decision to opt for Star Solutions for receiving the garage door repair services has proven to be beneficial for me.

Scam Alert: AVOID!!! After drilling through my lock to replace it (which I later learned did not need to be done as an experienced locksmith wouldn’t have to do so), they claimed my credit and debit cards were being declined when there was absolutely no problem with them at all.

Later that afternoon, citing the “declined” credit and debit cards, the technician returned to my house unannounced demanding I go to an ATM machine and withdraw cash for him immediately. He became increasingly agitated, even though I had informed him that I was working with their billing department to resolve the dispute. Eventually, I had to inform him that I would have to call the police if he didn’t leave. He left then, but five minutes later, he actually called the police who came to my home to question me.

Needless to say, I was completely stunned. I’m a pretty calm, non-confrontational person, and this was quite rattling as nothing like this has ever happened to me. They had also been using my cards to charge my account $1 to see if it was valid (again, it was 100% valid – I verified with my bank). I spent the better part of my day on this scam and will have to get new credit and debit cards.

In the end, I received a call from them informing me that they would not be seeking payment from me. I asked why, and they cited my “declined” cards. I’m now sure that it was because they knew I had become aware of their scam and/or the mess they had made of the situation.
