Just moved into my new place and stopped by J&L Pacific Locksmith to rekey all my locks to match my new Wi-Fi front door lock. Brandon was super quick and efficient! Our daughter locked us out of our bedroom door and he was able to come and help us within no time. He was super friendly and respectful. Bought 9 keys from the kiosk that offered a 50% discount but this didn’t show at checkout. I called the customer assistance number and they only gave me a 25% discount. Keys work but expensive, probably could have gotten cheaper somewhere else

The process was to easy… I was expecting me having to do more. I inserted my key and was quickly taken through the steps. ended up ordering 4 keys. It was quick, easy and every one worked like the original. Who ever leaves a bad review needs help.. I’m 64, hate technology and shy away from it. This was a quick way I thought and I was in a hurry. Took less time then it would of for me to find someone to cut a key and wait on it. PLUS. these all worked.. taking the human error out of it. And pricing was more than fair.

Tim and his wife are two of the kindest business owners in Salem with out a doubt. Advice never comes with a price. Down to earth people. Very humble. In their outgoing telephone message, they explain how they operate. Their main focus is on the people in their shop needing key work. They don’t answer the phone and encourage you to come into the shop if you need things done. It is an old fashoned way to do business and I admire them for it. You can’t get things done in this small business with very limited help if you are on the phone all day. If you leave a message, you might not get a call back but if you go into their shop, you will get first come first served total devotion to your issue for a very reasonable price, lowest in town for sure! Please tip them! They are rare in this day and age of self centered entitled rude customers! Take Tim’s answering machine advice. Stop in the shop. If they aren’t there, know they are buried up to their necks helping people! The people that can’t afford the prices at lock smiths that hire someone to answer the phone all day. When you leave the shop, I guarantee you will be very happy with the money you save showing your patience and forgiveness to two very kind people!!!!!

The automated key machine usage was clear and easy. The original key was inserted “firmly” into the machine’s slot. The key was cut and delivered within a minute or so. The key works in the indicated lock, but it “seats” differently than the original – when inserted, it has to be pulled back about a millimeter for it to work.

Called around a couple different places needed to have the key reprogrammed and the original immobilizer module, technician not only came out once but twice until issue was resolved. Great communication and kept us informed on at every step, very fair pricing I didn’t even have to pay for the first look only on completion! I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking and will use them in the future
