Horrible service, and the key didn’t work. $4.75 for a key that someone didn’t even look at after cutting (pretended), a child could figure out it wasn’t going to work… Come on. The key is one thing, the arrogance and rudeness is completely different. They didn’t know who I was, but I work for a high end bicycle company looking for a small business to possibly do work for us. Hard to find good service in America these days, this place in not it, sadly. Wish them the best, regards.

James at Tri-Cities Lock and Safe was AMAZING! We had him go to a house that we were selling to change out the lock. When he got there the door had been completely damaged along with the frame so there was no way to change the lock. James offered to go and get the materials to install a padlock on the door for us. Will definitely use them for all future needs.

There aren’t many people and places that devote themselves to a craft anymore. Steebers is one of those places. When you need a key – especially something a bit out of the ordinary – remember that a place like Steebers is the furthest thing from some automated machine. They charged me $240 for and didn’t even get the key to work they said I still have to pay for the key that did not work and claimed other companies can fix the key to work in my truck but every where I talked to said they would have to make there own keys

My son called this company because the keys got locked in the car accidentally. They came out and got the car unlocked. But when we got the bill, it was $140. That is about three times the cost of any other company in this area. We called their office and they would not help us, and we tried to call the service tech and he would not respond or call us back. Call someone else in the area and check prices.

We have a close friend of the family who needed to replace a key fob from her 2005 vehicle. She purchased one online and I took the fob and her car to YL&S to see if they could program it for her.
Danny provided outstanding service, explanation and professionalism throughout the experience. He took time to explain why the purchased fob wasn’t working and tried several times to program.
However, the original fob, he replaced the rubber piece inside with one that had new contacts on the back and was able to program it!
He clearly wanted to provide the best service possible solution to resolve the issue. I sincerely appreciated his commitment to making sure I left with a working fob and I did!

I had an incident where my car key snapped off in my passenger door lock. JVC came to me after I called them and after providing some car-info specifics, were able to repair the passenger door lock and copy two new keys for me on-site in the middle of a GameStop parking lot in Pasco. Their van is well-prepped with plenty of gear and it was a fun spectacle watching the main repairman take out and skillfully use his specific equipment to unlock my driver-side door to start the repairs. Nothing was broken along the way or even remotely damaged. He had a tool similar to the whole ‘clothes hanger through the car-door window’ technique that worked perfectly, and again, no damage. He just needed to get my driver door unlocked since my only key had broken. He even gave me a free, ‘no qualms or complaints’ sort of price estimate that he was dedicated to looking up and calculating for me when I asked. He was doing the research to figure out a potential price range on his phone even after it had started to rain on us in the parking lot! To say this man and a company as a whole are dedicated and professional is an understatement. I thoroughly enjoyed the service he provided and he had the door repaired again, the broken key fragment popped back out of the passenger doorlock, and two duplicate keys made for me in only about an hour’s time– and that’s including the driving time it took for him to reach me! He was on-site and helping within 5-10 minutes, so the repairs only took 45-50 minutes in all! Would highly recommend them. Their main shop in Kennewick also has plenty of tools and keyfobs available to replace any of your broken or missing electronic car-beepers you need if you don’t have a standard key for your car.

Locked both sets of keys in the car in the morning! Uhg! Called Les Schwab for a recommendation. They said Ryan was “The Man” he’s a great guy and on it! Called Ryan, he responded immediately, said he could make it in the afternoon, and he did! Opened our Suburban, got our 2 sets of keys out. I asked, for a 3rd key, he made one in 3 minutes. It was also a foggy, slick and dark a drive!

I got locked out of my car today and even tho the guy had to drive out of his way a little bit because there was a small miscommunication on where we were located, the guy still found us pretty fast and unlocked my car for me, he was extremely nice too.
Gas is so expensive so I just hope his work makes sure he gets paid for those extra miles he had to drive because I would feel really bad if he didn’t even tho it was the applications fault
I’m super duper grateful for these guys and if I get myself into this situation again which I probably will, I’ll definitely be calling these people
