Just moved into my new place and stopped by J&L Pacific Locksmith to rekey all my locks to match my new Wi-Fi front door lock. Jeremiah was awesome—super friendly and explained the different lock brands and how to make everything work together. He rekeyed five locks to match my Smart Lock, and everything works great. Shawn was awesome getting my keys out of my locked car. It was a Friday evening, after 5pm, 95°. He came over within 15 min (it’s a small town). It was a tough job, I have tinted windows and a couple with sun reflectors on one side and windshield. Using a variety of tools, he didn’t give up and between he and son, they were able to get the keys. Nice guy 😊!!

Jesse of Pacific Coast Lock and Safe was an enormous help when our key got stuck in the door knob of our front door.

Not only did he solve the problem quickly, but he went above and beyond by providing us new keys to our door at no charge.

Don with J&L was prompt and knowledgeable! He clearly knew what he was doing. He was able to get us back into our home in about 15 min. and that included working on a Kwikset SmartKey Deadbolt! I will definitely use them again, if needed!

Tim and his wife are two of the kindest business owners in Salem with out a doubt. Advice never comes with a price. Down to earth people. Very humble. In their outgoing telephone message, they explain how they operate. Their main focus is on the people in their shop needing key work. They don’t answer the phone and encourage you to come into the shop if you need things done. It is an old fashoned way to do business and I admire them for it. You can’t get things done in this small business with very limited help if you are on the phone all day. If you leave a message, you might not get a call back but if you go into their shop, you will get first come first served total devotion to your issue for a very reasonable price, lowest in town for sure! Please tip them! They are rare in this day and age of self centered entitled rude customers! Take Tim’s answering machine advice. Stop in the shop. If they aren’t there, know they are buried up to their necks helping people! The people that can’t afford the prices at lock smiths that hire someone to answer the phone all day. When you leave the shop, I guarantee you will be very happy with the money you save showing your patience and forgiveness to two very kind people!!!!!

This place is outstanding. I came in with old and unusual tool box keys to have duplicated. The gentleman behind the counter was unbelievably patient and found the correct key blanks. The new keys worked great and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Swanson and Sons for all your locksmith needs.
