Brandon was super quick and efficient! Our daughter locked us out of our bedroom door and he was able to come and help us within no time. He was super friendly and respectful. He also was very accommodating for our specific issue. We will definitely use his service if we have problems in the future and will refer him to friends who are in need of a locksmith as well. Mel is genuinely a good guy. As well as the other gentlemen that helped out for a few minutes. Makes sense this place has such good reviews! Very impressed.

I went to get a special door latch. Mel was very patient and informative with explaining things. I ended up using them to install it. The gentleman John that came out is also a good guy. He was professional, quick, and clean.

Just moved into my new place and stopped by J&L Pacific Locksmith to rekey all my locks to match my new Wi-Fi front door lock. Jeremiah was awesome—super friendly and explained the different lock brands and how to make everything work together. He rekeyed five locks to match my Smart Lock, and everything works great. We cannot say enough nice things about The Professional Locksmith! They gave us a fair estimate and surprised us with finishing the same day because they had the part in stock! Yeshai was a great technician and took the time to explain everything and waited patiently while we tested the new lock and our doorbell combo. Highly recommend!

My key fob was broken, which caused me to lose my key. I called this shop to explain my issue. Instead of trying to get extra money from me, they offered me cheaper options and explained how I could find my key code. When I arrived at their shop, I was greeted nicely and received good service. The price was very reasonable. Overall good experience would come back again in the future.

The kiosk created a crappy copy of my key that did not work unless I pull it out of lock a little bit and finesse it, it is a terrible quality copy! The kiosk costs 3 to 4 times more than Fred Meyer will do it, go back to the auto section in Freddy’s, and find a person to work the machine for you.

Tim and his wife are two of the kindest business owners in Salem with out a doubt. Advice never comes with a price. Down to earth people. Very humble. In their outgoing telephone message, they explain how they operate. Their main focus is on the people in their shop needing key work. They don’t answer the phone and encourage you to come into the shop if you need things done. It is an old fashoned way to do business and I admire them for it. You can’t get things done in this small business with very limited help if you are on the phone all day. If you leave a message, you might not get a call back but if you go into their shop, you will get first come first served total devotion to your issue for a very reasonable price, lowest in town for sure! Please tip them! They are rare in this day and age of self centered entitled rude customers! Take Tim’s answering machine advice. Stop in the shop. If they aren’t there, know they are buried up to their necks helping people! The people that can’t afford the prices at lock smiths that hire someone to answer the phone all day. When you leave the shop, I guarantee you will be very happy with the money you save showing your patience and forgiveness to two very kind people!!!!!
