I hired this guy to open my car. He damaged trim on my B pillar and said he’d fix it. I contacted him after hearing nothing for a couple weeks, he gave some excuse that he knew someone that could tell him how to fix it. Well, it’s now months later and not a word. Highly unprofessional and I’ll never recommend him for anything.

Just moved into my new place and stopped by J&L Pacific Locksmith to rekey all my locks to match my new Wi-Fi front door lock. Jeremiah was awesome—super friendly and explained the different lock brands and how to make everything work together. He rekeyed five locks to match my Smart Lock, and everything works great. If you need any locksmith work done, definitely hit up J&L Pacific.

Brandon was super quick and efficient! Our daughter locked us out of our bedroom door and he was able to come and help us within no time. He was super friendly and respectful. He also was very accommodating for our specific issue. We will definitely use his service if we have problems in the future and will refer him to friends who are in need of a locksmith as well. The Kiosk is awful. First, it was odd to me that they scan the key and mail it to you. You’re supposed to get your key within 3-5 business days and 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Well, I’m on the 8th business day and my key is not here still. It is marked delivered in a completely different city. I should have went to a minute key kiosk, half price for a key and you get the key right there. Save your money and go to a minute key or a hardware store. Customer Service said to allow 48 more hours for my key to arrive and have the system synch.🙄

Tim and his wife are two of the kindest business owners in Salem with out a doubt. Advice never comes with a price. Down to earth people. Very humble. In their outgoing telephone message, they explain how they operate. Their main focus is on the people in their shop needing key work. They don’t answer the phone and encourage you to come into the shop if you need things done. It is an old fashoned way to do business and I admire them for it. You can’t get things done in this small business with very limited help if you are on the phone all day. If you leave a message, you might not get a call back but if you go into their shop, you will get first come first served total devotion to your issue for a very reasonable price, lowest in town for sure! Please tip them! They are rare in this day and age of self centered entitled rude customers! Take Tim’s answering machine advice. Stop in the shop. If they aren’t there, know they are buried up to their necks helping people! The people that can’t afford the prices at lock smiths that hire someone to answer the phone all day. When you leave the shop, I guarantee you will be very happy with the money you save showing your patience and forgiveness to two very kind people!!!!!

Called around a couple different places needed to have the key reprogrammed and the original immobilizer module, technician not only came out once but twice until issue was resolved. Great communication and kept us informed on at every step, very fair pricing I didn’t even have to pay for the first look only on completion! I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking and will use them in the future

The process was super easy, but not a ton of key choices and bummed I had to buy two to get one and couldn’t use the free for a different key. Needed 4 of 1 and 2 of another.l, so didn’t get the savings though I bought 6 keys.
