Lost my only key and fob with my vehicle locked. Called around to get some quotes. Instant Auto Unlock had the best price of all four places I tried by a good margin. Garrett came out the very next day, drove to my location, cut and programmed a new key on the spot in maybe 45 minutes. Highly recommend.

My car security key broke off in the ignition but I was able to get it out. Grott make a duplicate security (chip-imbedded) key on the spot and charged half of what the local dealership wanted. ❤️

I accidentally locked my keys in my car and I tried calling Pop-a-lock but they said “we’re closed for today”, I saw a link for this and they are 100% more helpful. They are super nice and super easy to book an appointment. I definitely recommend using King’s Locksmiths. Will definitely call again.

At the kiosk located in Kroger, one key could not be duplicated as it apparently was too small. The other was and the copies work fine. But I felt at $24-plus for a couple of duplicates, it was a very expensive self-service. I was offered the choice of making another key for free but the only other key I needed done was, as mentioned, too small. Will likely not use again and look for other options, if any.

Process was fairly easy. Didn’t like the upgrade cost to get a smooth ease to teeth. All 3 keys work fine.

Getting the keys cut was quick & easy. I ended up with more keys than I needed, but that was OK.
I wish there were more options for key designs, both in general, and particularly with immediate pickup keys, I gave the kiosk 4 out of 5 stars for that, but if I need keys in a hurry I will still use the KeyMe kiosk.

The 2 keys worked fine, but the machine wanted to upcharge $2.99 to smooth out the edges. I chose no for that option and just ran over the keys with a finger nail file a couple times to fix any sharp edges. That process took 20 seconds. Other than the up charges for unnecessary things, I would definitely recommend using one of the machines.

Although I am physically disabled, I managed to get to a Kroger and insert my house key into a machine that copied it but did not immediately make it as I was used to from going to a hardware store in the past. The keys were mailed to me about a week later and worked fine. There were also some unique color and design choices for each key, which I liked. However, the keys have were more expensive than before, and it was probably due to mailing them. That is why I now give them 4 stars instead of 5. It may be that this new system will become standard because of Covid. If so, then it is the best deal and most convenient available to me. UPDATE: Keys are now really expensive, so I have dropped one star from my previous rating. I cannot afford to go back to this type of key making except in an emergency. It’s too bad. The idea is a really good one.

Needed 4 keys for new employees. Walked next door to Walmart Neighborhood Market where the KeyMe kiosk was right inside the front door. Had all 4 cut in less than 10 minutes for $4.99/key. Selected basic brass, but several other designs were available for +$1. Less expensive at Lowe’s or Home Depot, but the convenience was worth it. Tap to pay worked perfectly. Receipt was texted instantly.

Other key copying services are available like vehicle, key fob, etc. Will use a KeyMe kiosk in the future for other needs.
