We had them come out and change the knob and latch frame for our three flat. After a few weeks the knob quit turning and they immediately came back out at no cost to assess and fix it. Highly recommend them for their professionalism and service. Great experience.

I needed a new key made for my older Honda CR-V after losing mine, and I’m really glad I came here. I had my spare key with me and wanted to replace my lost key with one that has buttons. Before coming in, I called around to multiple locksmiths to compare prices and get a better understanding of what I needed.

I didn’t speak to Dominic on the phone, but he helped me in person today and was great to work with. He explained everything clearly, made the process easy, and even gave me $10 off for leaving an honest review. The price was fair, the service was quick, and the key works perfectly. They even gave me a spare key, that works just the doors included in the price.

I had read some scary reviews about people getting keys that didn’t start their cars and locksmiths refusing to fix it, so I was nervous — but this place earned my trust. They also offer a guarantee, which helped me feel more confident.

It’s either the owner or a worker of the establishment that smokes a lot on their porch. I take the 8 bus all the time, which is directly in front of their establishment. It’s not even off-set. He will blow his smoke on me. I have to try to stand to the side of the bus stop and hope I don’t miss the bus to wave at it, since I can’t stand directly next to the bus stop. I can’t begin to express how infuriating this is for me! I’ve had my nice winter jackets drenched in the smell of smoke because of this worker. My grandpa died of secondhand smoking, so I am extremely cautious of this. Your vice doesn’t have to be mine. If people are at the bus stop, please don’t be smoking on your porch. Be cognisent of the direction your smoke is traveling. I don’t want it on my clothes or hair. It’s unwelcoming, and I will never spend money with you because of it. This has happened on so many occasions. Just because you can smoke on your porch, doesn’t mean you should. It technically is your porch, but it’s such bad manners. Enough is enough!

We cannot say enough nice things about The Professional Locksmith! They gave us a fair estimate and surprised us with finishing the same day because they had the part in stock! Chicago Locksmith the real deal! I went in to get a new key fob and reprogramming done which should’ve took like 45min but Noe got it done in ten minutes! That boy super fast! My Jeep works just fine now! Really cool people at CL, very friendly atmosphere!

Demetrius was awesome. We have been looking for someone to replace my husbands motorcycle key(it was lost) and this was the only place that we found that could do it. They came and made two keys for us within 15 minutes. If I can rate it a 10 star, I would. Thank you all again.

Nothing but the best. My girlfriend had her wallet stolen, including car keys, and they had a guy out the next morning to get her locks changed, key fobs reset, etc.

Though I didn’t get the name of the fella who helped her out, he was nothing but kind, thoughtful, and quick. Cannot recommend them enough, these are good people.

I had 4 keys made and only 2 actually worked. The length on one of the keys was too long and one the metal of the keys was too weak and it cracked easily. Cool concept but I wish I could get a refund or replacement.

There is absolutely no reason a plain brass house key should cost $11 to make. Needed two of them and there was a fee on top of that, so it ended up being around $30. Ridiculous. I’ll be using other services in the future.

Super quick and thorough service – came out in the middle of a winter storm to fix a broken mechanism in the front door of our building, and was able to assess additional issues we had and either send out other folks on his team to fix them or recommend colleagues. Do not duplicate keys here – the ones made do not work well – extremely finicky about how far the key is inserted to be able to turn it, and after 2-3 weeks of use just completely broke off in the lock.
