How do you come in and not finish something and charge $300? My husband and I were able to get a key, a remote start, and an unlock for $80.

I got locked out of a smartlock and Lenny and Josh worked for an hour and a half on super short notice to help me get back inside my home. They were very kind and helpful.

Steve at Monte’s Lock and Key is a good dude. I had a key problem with my car. He very easily could have come to do the mobile visit and charge me his mobile fee, but instead he told me about how I could do it on my own without having him have to come out and charge me. This was amazing to me, and how grateful I am that he didn’t take advantage of me. Thank you Steve!!

Scam?
Are “unable” to book a locksmith without card information UPFRONT. The card is locked in the car with my keys. “You get a discount for giving it upfront, but it’ll only apply itself when the thing is paid”. No can do, its locked in the car with the keys.
I’ve been through this rodeo before and its always pay on site after service is completed. They asked for some other info so I could “create an account” No sir, your nice and from india, but I dont need to create an account and give you card info over the phone. Glad I gave a dud number.

Not a locksmith. It’s a kiosk that overcharges for crappy keys, then tries to upsell a key that has been properly smoothed out, as if having a good key costs extra. See photo for the snaggletooth edge on the key compared to the original. I’m going to have to file the rough edge down myself when I get home.

Amazing customer service, speed and ease. I came in to inquire about changing a lock on short notice and was so impressed by both the knowledge and the speed of service at Smiths. Not only did they get my locks changed by the following morning but the whole process took about 20 minutes start to finish. They ensured all my locks were working properly and that I had the correct amount of keys. I can’t recommend smiths enough and will absolutely be using them if I ever need locksmith services in the future.
